Crue decided for some reason to release this last week.
If you choose not to listen to the whole thing... I'll understand.



Gym, honeydo's, grill biz, followed up by a few beers
sitting in the pool up at the club house for the last time
this year. Fortunately, the gym pool will still be open for
another month or so, but no beers there. Just some marg
that you sneak in. How nice would it be, to be a
gajilionaire like Mikey, and have an awesome pool in
your own back yard?

Planning to watch a little college ball throughout the
weekend here and there. Most programs are still in
practice mode with games against the deaf, dumb and
blind (like my team does), but there are a few goodones
also. GO CLEMSON.

5 days until the Chiefs are 1-0.
162 days until #3pete.

65 days until the election.
As a new feature of WRC, I will be posting a vid or meme
pertaining to the election weekly in place of the regular
MOW - unless I find a really special nog or fag meme,
for the duration of this election cycle. I hope I am not blowing
my wad early, but this one may be the best right out of the gate.

Friends in from out of town, and we're headed to Commander's Palace in NOLA for brunch. Legendary NOLA restaurant, can't go wrong there.

Of course there is football this weekend, started off last night with my Frogs taking care of Stanford on the road. One of our daughters is in Vegas for the Sunday night LSU vs USC game, wish I was there as well. In my completely unbiased opinion, LSU wins by 10+. Geaux Tigers!

Had to make a quick trip to the neighborhood grocery store, and they're already working on a chicken, sausage, and pork jambalaya this morning, the smell was incredible. Sometimes I really love Louisiana.

Pushing paper today. Exciting, huh? Is there such a thing as post party depression?

Still catching up from spending the last 3 months prepping for last Saturday's 90th birthday shindig.

Movie night with the Mrs. tonight and then Tune Town, Smackie willing...

Just played some pickleball and then some bocce. Going to turn the NCAA games on in the background while I work. Eating some chili verde for dinner with friends. We made on Thursday. Should be bombing. Actually found Hatch chiles in SWFL!

Hatch chiles are da bomb. They have an event every year at our local market where if you buy a whole box they'll roast them for you in the parking lot in one of these:



You can get them in jars too. Most grocery stores carry them around here as well as Costco and you can get them through Amazon. Not at good as fresh, but an acceptable substitute.

Especially when you see the red Saltillo tile on the mantel and the hearth, and the talavera iguana that I’m gonna stick there.
