I’ve never had a Red Bull, Monster or any other ‘energy drink’.

I’ve never set foot in a movie theater during this century.

I’ve never seen an episode of Game of Thrones.

I’ve never eaten Wagyu beef.

I think I tried a Red Bull and/or a Monster once back in the day and did not like it/them. I drink Liquid IV like its free when playing pickleball in the SWFL heat and humidity. It is an electrolyte drink. I don't know if that constitutes an "energy drink" (probably needs caffeine).

Me and Mrs. 88 go to the movie theatre two to three times per year. I think the last time was for Top Gun Maverick. But we might have seen something more recent.
StrawMan wrote: Wed Sep 18, 2024 8:22 pm I’ve never seen an episode of Game of Thrones.
The you missed out on a decent series. The end was a goat blow. But it was interesting for most of its run.

You are missing out, mang. It is very delish. We splurge on it at least once a month.

We used to go to the movies occasionally but haven’t been since COVID. I wouldn’t be against it now but would rather just watch whatever shit we watch at home.

We watched the first couple of seasons of GoT but lost interest.

1 and 4, no.

I've also never had an energy drink. However, I do distinctly remember around 1986 or so while in Jr. High, I took a No Doz pill from a friend while in school. Gym was shortly thereafter and kickball was the event for that day. I fucking crushed it. Then, about an hour later, I crashed in the nurse's office.

I've never seen a full Star Wars movie. Waaaay back when (early 80,s?), we were on vacation in the OBX and we went to a theatre to watch the original. I fell asleep. Have since, never even watched a single scene from any of the subsequent movies. Has nothing to do with my disinterest in the original, but more that I have no interest in Sci Fi. Which leads me to Harry Potter- not a clue what it's about and zero interest in finding out. Marvel movies also. Hate that stuff.

Re: seeing a movie in a theatre- the first time for me in over a decade was a couple years ago to watch Top Gun Maverick. Actually, was probably closer to 20 years since that I'd been in a theatre.

Never had a Big Mac or Whopper.

Wish I could add 'Been to Disney World' to my list. But, alas, I've suffered that miserable place a few times with my kids when they were young.

Oh and, I've never been friends with anyone who likes pineapple on their pizza.

Never been to Hawaii. Why would I want to take a plane all day to go to tropical island with palm trees and beaches when I can get in my car and be on Sanibal Island in 20 minutes. A couple places I've been that I have on my bucket list to return: New Orleans and Las Vegas. There hasn't been a movie I'd want to see in a theater since The Hunt for Red October. No desire to go to MouseWorld again.
If anyone organized a huge T1B/clone stock--I might join in.

I took NoDoz a few times in college, during finals week.
Was roughly the same as chugging a couple of cups of coffee.

I got one in high school.
Was a thrill.

Mikey, if you’ve never ridden a motorcycle to this point, keep that streak intact. I don’t like seeing old folks like us take up riding this late in life. Dumb move.

Never been to Disney anything. My kids and grandkids go regularly since it’s in their backyard. It has never appealed to me at all.

Never seen Old Yeller. People seem to be stunned when they hear that.

And ditto on Mike’s list, other than riding.

I may have ridden a friend’s mini bike once when I was a kid. But other than that…no motorcycles. Mrs. Mikey, before we were married, used to be a nurse in a physical rehab facility and says that a lot of the worst cases she saw were motorcycle accidents - head, neck and spinal injuries with permanent damage. San Diego was always a big Navy town and a lot of sailors would come off their ships after months at sea and crash their bikes. Plus…her ex rode a Harley. Anyway I was told early on that if I ever got on a bike it would be grounds for divorce.

A small price to pay for years of wedded bliss.

I've never thought I had so much in common with the other "I've Nevers" posted here!

I've never skipped voting in a Presidential election, going back to 1980, Reagan v Carter.

I've never had one of those votes matter. MD is a Blue Electoral College Hell.

I've never opened the "Doom" thread.

Yeah, just down the hill from Snowbird, Alta, Solitude, etc. And over the hill from Park City, etc. . .

Too much time on message boards

I'm the only one in my family who wasn't a ski bum.

Mother & father (after I moved on), sister and two brothers along with their kids.

My sister lived in Park City from the late 70s until she passed about 8 years ago. Her son was an all-state biathlete in HS. My brother used to spend about half of every winter there, seemingly. I went skiing up there once. Guess I'd rather stay near the ocean, and Mrs. Mikey can't stand cold weather.
