I went into this one reluctantly. From the previews I assumed Marvel turned fan service up to 11 and ripped off the knob. I have better uses for my time. But then my wife's best friend said it's the funniest movie she's seen in a long time and my wife suggested we watch it. So we did.

Spoiler warning if anyone cares.

This is *sigh* another multiverse movie.

Deadpool from this timeline must get Logan the Wolverine from another timeline and fight bad guys in yet another timeline. And with that four dimensional premise, they only manage to make a two dimensional movie. Those dimensions are: Campy dialogue and Action Sequences. Sometimes with Cameos, sometimes without. The entire movie is a platform for fight scenes and Deadpool running his mouth. You don't need any more of a plot synopsis than that.

In typical Marvel fashion, our superheroes are immune to pain, damage, and death...until the plot needs them to get hurt and maybe die. Conveniences and contrivances run the store. Ugh. Fuck off, superhero tropes.

The good guys win against all odds through the power of teamwork. I kid you not, that's how this fukken thing ends.
