I reserved mine today (for the SUV). Love the hybrid model that runs on generator tech. They’ll start producing in 2027 at a new plant in South Carolina.

Looks pretty cool. Interesting front bench seat option. How much $$ does the range extender add to the price?

No info on that yet. 50-60k for base model which I’m assuming is the all electric 350 mile range model.

Will it have that shitty diesel smell like the original?

I hear that is an added option along with Skoal Wintergreen dip stains on the bench seat. With purchase you get 3 empty cans of PBR under the driver’s seat with the throwaway tabs in the ashtray.

A friend of mine used to drive an old Scout. This was in the late 70s so the Scout was probably mid-60s. It was a former mail delivery vehicle so it had right hand drive. Strange to ride in it. It had a sliding door on the LHS.

It looked like this, but it was painted white.

The dash looks like a 1980's kitchen. The giant buttons look like they came out of an early 70's Thunderbird. Coogs, don't do this. It's not too late.

Spent a lot of time in the 70s riding around drinking beer on a friend’s farm in one of these.

Gold and pale blue are the only acceptable colors.
