If he had swum/swam/swimmed across the Rio Grande instead of in Lexington, he’d be a citizen by now.

He probably has something to offer the country other than just being a drain on our resources.
We need to be like Switzerland. I was dating a Swiss girl when I was about 20 and we thought I would be moving to Switzerland to be with her. Then I found out the Swiss expect you to actually contribute something to their country and I had nothing to offer at that time.
