"Yea Alabama"

Yeah, who wouldn't want to pay $18 a month or $150 a month subscription to see "their" team get back to the CFP?

‘College football is ruined’: Alabama fans react to Greg Byrne’s call to ‘fight back’ in NIL wars

This week, hundreds of outraged Alabama football fans are saying that student athletes’ ability to profit from their name, image and likeness -- otherwise known as NIL, is ruining college football.

This response follows an email sent out earlier this week by Alabama athletics director Greg Byrne urging fans to “fight back” to keep the team competitive amid NIL wars with rivals.

In the email, Byrne said “Bama Nation” could help with this objective by purchasing a membership for “Yea Alabama,” the university’s NIL entity.

Membership starts at $18 a month for non-students and goes all the way up to $150 a month.

“The good news is when Yea Alabama was created last year, the focus was on providing our fans with a legitimate product rather than booster inducements,” Byrne’s email reads.

Saban definitely saw the writing on the wall and got out at the right time.

Sure, the players deserve to profit from their NIL but, within a few years, their NIL may not be worth so much. Will we see the schools with the deepest pocketed alumni dominating BTPCF?

SMU vs Harvard in the CFP?

And which genius decided to open the transfer portal while the playoffs are going on?

Nothing at all, except none of the players will actually be students.

CFB is ruined.

Shane Gillis, ND fan, on the pregame show just joked about Alabama paying players. Saban did not like it. He explained that he ran an ethical program that developed players so they could make a lot of money at the next level. You could see it pissed him off.
