Welcome to Death Pool 2025.


The rules are simple. Do your best to not screw this up.
• Picks open 01/01/2025 at 7am EST
• Picks close 01/15/2025 at midnight
• Contest Ends 12/31/2025 at midnight
• You may choose up to 5 celebrities (Celebrity is defined as a person whose identity is -or should be- commonly known by the general public. Approval or disproval is at my exclusive discretion.)
• Posters on these boards are not Celebrities except Jess The Rookie and maybe Nishlord if you know his real name.
• Each celeb can only by chosen by one poster. First come, first served.
• Each pick should include four things: Name of Celebrity, Reason They are a Celeb (actor, athlete, etc), Cause of Death; Month of Death
• Cause of death needs to be somewhat specific. (For example, "illness" is not acceptable but "cancer" is. "Accident" is not acceptable but "car crash" is. "The Jab" is not acceptable but "myocarditis" is.)
• Points are awarded for the death itself (10 points)
• Points are awarded based on age (100 minus age at time of death)
• Points are awarded for correct cause of death (20 points)
• Points are awarded for correct month of death (20 points)
• Bonus Points are awarded for making 2 or more correct picks and these points compound. (2 correct picks =10 bonus; 3 correct picks =30 bonus; 4 correct picks =60 bonus; 5 correct picks =100 bonus)
