SM PM'd me and made mention of the women's draw.

I understand the eye candy, but I am more interested in the men's draw.
The men are through to the semifinals.

Quarterfinals
J. Sinner crushed A. de Minaur

B. Shelton (USA) beat L. Sonego

Old man N. Djokovic ousted C. Alcaraz

A. Zverev defeated T. Paul (USA)

Sinner (1) Vs. Shelton (21)
Djokovic (7) vs. Zverev (2)

Rack the Bat.

Apparently Chris Fowler at ESPN flew to Melbourne right after voicing the CFP final on Monday night. He was calling the Keys vs Swiatek match last night.

For the men, I will say 1 Sinner over 7 Djoker in the final, in four sets. Nice to see Ben Shelton reach another slam semifinal. Don’t think he’ll stand a chance against Sinner, who is on a whole other stratosphere.

Well, after dropping a very tight first set tiebreaker (7-5), Djoker abruptly retires* with an injury and now Zverev will advance to the final, likely to play Sinner (unless Shelton can serve nonstop bombs).

*not the career ending fashion type of retiring

Gonna take awhile to undo whether your posts are sarcasm or legit...

I understand the conundrum this presents.

The US Open in August / September, in particular, might seem exponentially confusing, given that it takes place right down the street from my all-blue voting booth in the 14th district of NY, where I regularly cast write-in votes (on a post-it note) for Joe and Kamala and my neighborhood economics expert, AOC.

Shelton gave it a nice try, but this court surface is very much to Sinner's liking.
Sinner is a wall.

Zverev will pose more problems for Sinner than Shelton did, imo, so the final will probably go 4 or 5 sets.
But in the end, I see Sinner claiming his 2nd Aussie Open title.

I think you’re right Bat. Zverev definitely has the game to take out Sinner, but I don’t think he’s playing his best ball. He looked very tight against Djoker, was missing backhands (his best shot) and hitting a lot of short balls off both sides. His serve will keep him in it. His mediocre forehand will get eaten up. Sinner just has more firepower shot for shot. Sinner in four sets.

The women's final was the worse ever. Completely unjerkable. Dog face vs. saggy tits couldn't work for me.
