Too funny. They Photoshopped blacks out of a black-hosted MAGA event! Screwy no doubt loves this type of evil, twisted presentation of news. Truth be damned!

I hosted this event and

intentionally left me out of their story because it would have undermined their narrative that MAGA is some racist cult. They also didn’t include the fact that

I think the word "edit" means "to change" or "to alter" from its original state. Is there anything that suggests the photo was changed or altered in any way? That would make this thread more interesting. Well, maybe slightly.

The promoter of the event, a black man, says the magazine cut blacks from the photo. Maybe in cropping, they eliminated blacks.
The mag suggested that blacks were being excluded when that was the furthest thing from the truth.

In 2020, a year after graduating from Northwestern University and landing a job as the assistant to the Editor-in-Chief at New York Magazine, Brock Colyar became the youngest writer with a cover story at the publication. The story eventually became "are u coming?," their nightlife column documenting the city's reopening and nights out with everyone from sorority girls and single moms to SNL stars and Candace Bushnell. Today Colyar covers queer issues, youth culture, and celebrities, and in three years has published more than 70 pieces for "are you coming?" In 2023, they received the Next Award from the American Society of Magazine Editors, and recently signed a deal with Random House to write a nonfiction book about queer life, called Gender Bender.
In his defense, he didn't choose the photo. Writers never do. They just write what they're told to write (or exchange their byline for cash, and let someone else write the article, like what happened in the UK during the Harry and Meghan years when black journalists only provided a name and photo but the artcles were written by non-blacks, all to make it appear Black Brits hated Meghan.)

1) There's no faucet in the U&L to turn on. The low IQ felon was making things up (per usualm).
2) The military didn't "entered" the state of California. Currently there are over 40 military bases in California.
Trump's comment dismisses the over 156k military personnel currently serving our country. But disrespect of military personnel is nothing new for Cadet Bone Spurs.

Methinks a lot of panties are knotted on both sides. I don't trust any purveyor of "news" or other pseudo-political commentary and thus have a very hard time working up enough give-a-shit to act offended. Maybe I'm just numb from all the onions.

I don’t really give a flying fuck about New York magazine. Why would you? I guess I should have posted this in Sam’s why don’t they report this in the MSM thread, but you all would undoubtedly come up with another reason to cry foul.
