Torpedo Bats

So the Yankees broke out these "torpedo" bats and belted 15 home runs in a three-game series with the Brewers.
Nine homers in one game.

It's a huge sh!t storm.

Rule 3.02 states that bats cannot be more than 2.61 inches in diameter and 42 inches in length.
The torpedo model fits within these dimensions, meaning that the Yankees are operating within MLB rules.

But many are crying foul, claiming the bats go against the "spirit" of the rule, etc.

And of course, other teams are now palnning on breaking out their own version(s) of a torpedo bat.

MLB will have to make a call on this.

When questioned about the new bats, MLB has stated that they do conform to all rules and are legal.

It may be more about their shitty pitching than the bats.
Mil gave up 11 runs to KC yesterday. 47 runs allowed in their
first 4 games.

Or give them to a shit hitting time aka, the Mariners. If those fuckers can hit with them, then I'll think there's something to them.

Torpedo bats will be the new normal.
There will be an increase in offense in 2025.
