Apparently there is a shortage of capacity in the Federal prison system. I would think that there are much cheaper and efficient options. I guess we just need to trust the Trump administration to act responsibly and not just do whatever will give HPG and the rest of dumbfuckistan a raging hard on.

The upgrades needed to bring Alcatraz up to spec for a prison should be considered prohibitive (especially by DOUSH errrr DOGE).
