Have you guys heard the Jello Biafra/Melvins album? I never got into DK back in the day (I was a metal head), but that CD is pretty nice. Any recommendations on a good introductory DK album to pick up?

Love the Melvins; Love the Dead Kennedys. But Jello takes himself way too seriously these days and kinda ruins what could be a good thing.

Buy Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables... now.

Bravo!

I saw Jello do his spoken word shit in '88. Thought it was the greatest thing ever. Saw him again five or six years later and it was pretty much the same freakin' act. I was not amused and neither were some others in attendance. Jello had a few issues with hecklers that night and didn't handle himself with much grace.
