steve lambke of the constantines dissed me at their show

saw the constantines in kalamazoo last night at kraftbrau, which is a very small bar. we got their at 9:30 and the band didn't go on until 12, so i was close enough to lambke to touch him, really.
so being from canada (lambke happily shouted "hockey's back, woo hoo!" earlier in the show), and instead of saying something really stupid like (canada rocks, or bryan adams is the shit), i quietly asked lambke what his favorite rush album was, because i assumed (correctly or not) that every canadian male who has every picked up a guitar owns at least one rush album.
lambke replied over the speaker, "i'll let you know what my favorite rush album is when i start listening to rush."
damn. there was about 150-200 people there last night and they all instantly started laughing...at me, of course. i stood there with an embarassed smile on my face, what could i do? i was caught with my pants down.
then lambke starts into this mini rant for about 20 seconds, and all i really could translate out of it was a little bit about how he hates tom sawyer and he mentioned rush a couple more times. of course, people continued laughing, some hysterically. but i got over it soon after the new song started.
although it was one of the most awkward moments of my life, hey, he actually answered my question, even in his most brutally honest way.
btw, the constantines put on a great show. they closed the night with a rocking rendition of edmund fitzgerald. rack the constantines.
