Howard Dean style...recall Howie questioning whether the Iraqi people were better off without Hussein earliert this year...

Well, Howie is no longer questioning it:

Appearing on CBS' Face the Nation yesterday, Dean said, "It looks like today, and this could change, as of today it looks like women will be worse off in Iraq than they were when Saddam Hussein was president of Iraq."

Bwahahahahahhaaaaaaa!!!

Howie is right. Saddam treated his political enemies like shit. The Shittes will treat ALL women like shit.

Dean's possibly sorta/kinda right, if that makes sense. Under Saddam, everyone was treated equally like shit. If the ultra-religious whackos get their way and the constitution is drafted declaring Iraq to be under the rule of islamic law, Iraq could become another Saudi Arabia. However, no one other than the Imams want that, so it looks like chances of that happening are remote at best. I'm sure that's why he's hedging with "...and this could change...".

You'd think his time would be better spent trying to find a direction for his party, than playing creative games with details taken out of context in Iraq.

This war was so worthwhile. I don't know what rationale I should use today to determine that but it is so very worthwhile.

Well for starters, it keeps this forum busy.
