i have just about any and all aphex - and thats a lot.

i like him. he's creepy. (do you ? i'm thinken you don't.)

whats FSOL ? pirate sat ? are you serious or sarcastic ?

i need some new listening, bad.

electro or not.

you are the one person (round here anyway) i should seemingly be able to count on, to suggest something worthwhile.

*waiting for you to do so*

nevermind
New York hipsters have often complained about the lack of an arty underground music movement today. They daydream about Andy Warhol Factory scene in the 1960s, when the Velvet Underground rocked out and ignited the punk movement, and the '80s collaboration between indie rock leaders Sonic Youth and visual artists Glenn Branca and Raymond Pettibon. Finally, a comparable movement, labeled the Electroclash Movement, is emerging; this time around, musicians are fusing punk-inspired dance music with an interest in fashion and art. Instead of playing sweaty clubs where the air is thick with cigarette smoke and floors are sticky with spilled Budweiser, these bands play chic downtown art galleries. But they don't just play music at these shows; they deliver full-on performances. While there are around six bands (A.R.E. Weapons, Fischerspooner, Centuries, Crossover, Morplay, and Soviet) that have been identified as part of the Electroclash Movement, the two garnering the most media attention are A.R.E. Weapons and Fischerspooner. Here is a quick primer on their modus operandi:
Modern New Yourk Dolls and Velvet Underground. Scissor Sisters are not my cup of tea. Go get Bowie's Low and listen to that instead.

How about some Turbonegro?

mmkay.

(again, the head cold/flu thing is kicking my ass, probably why i didn't catch the clash reference, oops.) (then again, you appear to be used to my retardedness/slow wit by now, so...)

Low. noted.

Turbonegro. noted.

ps: you rock. 'specially lately. but don't tell anybody (including your ego!) that i said that. i'm thinking a bace signature might make me crawl out of the bottom of my well... *search*

i haven't found any decent fischerspooner yet - you know any songs that aren't a complete waste of time ?

not familiar with ACoS - willing to give em a listen tho, again - any particular songs that might be worthwhile ?

regarding C love-she's gotta do something because her CD tanked for EMI,so a gig with baldy ain't out of the question.

war "Papua New Guinea"!

(Apparently, I wasn't the only one who thought the title referred to
some sort of Clash remix project!) :P
