From the Guardian:
"A senior UN representative last night threatened to cite the British government for violation of human rights over its planned deportations of alleged terrorist sympathisers. Manfred Novak, the UN human rights commission's special investigator on torture, told the Guardian he is seeking permission through the Foreign Office to visit Britain to discuss the issue with the home secretary, Charles Clarke. In a statement on Tuesday night, Prof Novak said that the government's intention to return radical preachers to their countries of origin, even though some of those countries have a track record of human rights abuses, "reflects a tendency in Europe to circumvent the international obligation not to deport anybody if there is a serious risk that he or she might be subjected to torture"."
It would, I suppose, be malicious to suggest that, as a compromise to satisfy the folks at the UN, these radical preachers could be deported to any country that is a member of the UN's own commission on human rights, you know, places such as, oh, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the Sudan.

I know he is... Just making a comment abotu MVS' "Hate mongering religious fanatics who incite violence might be tortured?" I think we should use it to apply here as well- I see no difference between those assholes and the Imam's declaring war on other people.

Besides- jail's not good enough- lets send em to Fester's house for a month... that will reform any man

Quite a big distinction to be made between bombers and hate-mongers, eh?
