The Drunks vs the Champions of the West.

Well, after watching Michigan give up over 400 yards to N. Illinois and seeing what Notre Dame did to Pitt, I can't say that I am comfortable with next week's game.

Michigan's offense is clicking however, so....Michigan will win this in a shoot out...relatively speaking.

48 - 35

Go Blue!

That had a lot to do with that badass running back Northern Illinios has, as well as a very good team in general.

If Northern Illinios didn't have those 3 turnovers in the first half, you may have had your hands full.

That being said, you should have your way with "The Fighting Ethnic Group.

I love the fact that ND had a team they had to prepare against in the week before us. We played vanilla on offense, Breaston will be unleashed upon the Irish.

UM-31
ND-17

Go Blue!!

Michigan will win. Count on it.

Nothing but love for the Irish, but this is an entirely different game for a first-year coach to call.

Carr will have the deer in the headlights look again so I'll go with Weis and the Irish.

I think Weis can outcoach Carr. ND has a veteran OL and a talented RB. UM's defense looks a bit suspect.

ND: 35
UM: 13

So did we. Don't expect to see many of the same play calls this week. I wouldn't be suprised to see ND try to attack UofM deep, seeing as how they didn't throw one deep pass against Pitt. That and a steady diet of Walker and Powers-Neal.

ND 35
UofM 31

Fair point, but 126 years ago when we were teaching Notre Dame how to play football. Michigan was the west.

That was also before they came to Ann Arbor and walked away with blue prints for their stadium.

And like any good student, we passed the teacher. And a bowl, what a novel idea.

Seriously, you going to the game? If so, drop me a PM. And as always, sig bet?

Its ok, I still wonder why they call that big ass arch in St Louis the "Gateway To The West" and then call all those states east of Missouri the "Mid West" seems like an east coast biased perspective to me.
If ya look at the map, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and the Dakotas are in the center of the nation, everything east of them is "the East" and west of them is "the West" Mids, Southerns, Northerns and so forth should reflect what things actually are and not what they were 2 centuries ago.

still think it will be Michigan 24 and ND 17

As for a sig bet...I try not to bet at all on College Sports. Just leads to trouble.

But...maybe something can be worked out.

I'll try to make my way over before the game this time. We'll have to do a shot for M Club.
