Well ... that was quick.
War the two-headed monster backfield.

At least it was Johnson and not Holmes...

Amazing start. The Chiefs looked like a machine on that first drive.
Looks like the one question mark... the D line, came to play.

Sims just carted off the field with a bruised vulva.

No doubt. Defense was still sucking wind after having to chase down Holmes, and then have to deal with LJ.
War Willie Roaf leading the way downfield.

It IS easy when you run the well oiled machine that is the Chiefs offense.
Special team kick coverage sucks though.
Fucking fanball live scoring won't load. :x

Live game analysis from NFL.com:
Carucci: It's almost unfair that the Chiefs have two remarkable running backs. Priest Holmes rips off 35 yards and Larry Johnson does the same for a touchdown on the very next play? It speaks to the incredible depth the Chiefs have in their backfield, but also of
the dominance of their offensive line which is supposedly older -- but apparently better. The three-run, 75-yard drive also should be of great concern for the Jets defense, which shouldn't be this soft.
Is that even possible?
Be VERY afraid, the rest of you AFC West sluts.

Fantastic performance today, only thing better would have been a shut out and Priest to have scored that Late TD -
Sin,
My Fantasy Team.
Just saw where Surtain has a concussion - That's a lot better than what I initially thought.
Dewayne Washington, dare I say it, is even worse than William Bartee. Scary scenario if Patrick is out next week.

If he plays next Sunday he'll get another.
I recommend he sit it out.

Just saw the injury updates - Vermeil Says Surtain, T-Rich & Sims (BFD) will all play.
Now the Bad News - Looks like Willie Roaf is out - They didn't say what the injury is - I didn't hear it mentioned during the game - But then again we couldn't hear much so I may have missed it.
The loss of Roaf for next week isn't a killer against a the Swiss Duhs defense, but have some worries if he's out for an extended period

The Chiefs looked pretty damn good today, but the Jets were just fucking horrible. It was pathetic. Pennington looked like the center was snapping a greased bowling ball to him most of the time. The Jets wr's didnt look much better either. I havent checked the stats, but the incompletions almost have to out number the completions. Those bastards couldnt catch anything all day long. Midway through the 2nd quarter and on, all of us in the stands, were laughing our asses off everytime they tried to pass the ball. It was that ugly.

You might re-read that article... the only one Vermiel said was doubtful for the Oakland game was Roaf. Otherwise, I'm reading this:
Coach Dick Vermeil indicated Surtain, Sims and Richardson would not be out long.
as meaning they might miss a practice or two, and will be ready for Oakland.
