Has anyone see this yet? It hasn't been shown anywhere near here so I'm going to have to wait for the DVD. I'm curious to see whether it does the Minutemen justice, if that's at all possible.

i've been keeping an eye out for it. no dice yet.
i thought it might make the CU International Film Series (which rocks) Fall slate.... but it didn't.

and i didn't know this til recently--but "the Red and Black" is a Blue Oyster Cult cover. in addition to being the name of a Stendahl novel, though i don't think that figures into it--but it's a good read.

This is a must-see. Great live footage, great interviews with a ton of rockers, great moment of a boxer-shorted Raymond Pettibon spouting nonsense.
