Haven't seen anything of Shaz so I thought I might start this up.

1. USC
2. Texas, didn't look perfect but won in hostile environment
3. Va Tech-most balanced team in the ACC
4. Tenn
5. Florida
6. LSU-tough to start on road against good opponent that has played
7. Georgia
8. FSU
9. Purdue
10. Ohio State
11. Georgia Tech
12. ND
13. Louisville
14. Cal
15. Miami
16. Wiscy

way to step up Danimal...


1 SC - until beaten...well SSDY (same shit different year)
2 Texas - solid #2 and rightfully so
3 Va Tech - yawn...i can't stand these fuckers
4 Georgia - beat BSU and the lamehens...better comp than what FLA started with...we shall see once the real SEC season kicks off
5 FLA - this week is the first test for Urban...
6 tOSU - tough loss...but they will bounce back
7 Tenn - UAB is a tough one, but I think they will be ready for this week.
8 LSU - what danimal said
9 FSU - scary thought for a couple quarters
10 ND
11 Louisville
12 Purdue
13 Ga Tech
14 Miami of Fla
15 Iowa State

7. Perdue - are they the only Big 10 team that didn't lose

9. OSU Still one of the top 5 teams in the country but a loss at home has to drop them
10 ND I'm not a believer but I like seeing them drop when reality strikes (kinda like how everyone else feels about Texas)

Killian,
ND needs one more win to get in. It's nothing other than the fact that they started out so low. They beat Pitt....so did Ohio. They beat UM in AA, not shabby, but as horrible as UM played they still had a chance to win. I'll be more convinced when the beat MSU (Go Irish!...only time I'll say that).

Nothing against ND, I've said they're on the rise. We'll know more Sat. night. :wink:

funy how anyone would have tennessee who strugled to beat bamma birmingham at home ranked higher than Notre dame who face it didnt beat a quality Pitt team but did go in and beat Michigan and played both games on the road..... oh yeah ND also beat Tenn last season and will beat them again this year
