Just because you people are the bomb digiggity..
I have starting:
Code: Select all
QB - C. Palmer CIN
WR - MI Clayton TB
WR - JI. Smith JAC
RB - C.Dillon NE
RB - C.Portis WAS
TE - S. Alexander DEN
W/T - E.Kennison KC
W/R - C.Brown TENN
K - J.Brown SEA
DEF - New England
so basicly its like this, its a 14 team league where 10yds = 1 point for both RB and WR. TD=6pts for both also. I have like no fucking WR.
and I was offered this trade:
J. Horn
J. Galloway
FOR
C. Brown
B. Engram
Now I know C.Brown is going to lose touches to Travis Henry, but JHorn doesnt have a Home...What to do???

TAKE THE FUCKING TRADE!
The Titans suck and Brown can't stay healthy anyway. If somebody wanted to take him off your hands, LET HIM.

I got a trade question as well. I'll post it in here instead of starting a new thread.
10 team league. RB get 1pt per 20 rushing yards and 6pts per rushing td.
My current RB's are E. James, C. Portis, A. Green and S. Davis.
Should I trade Ahman Green For Dominick Davis?
Or, should I hold off and try and do something else with Green? My WR core is average at best. What type of WR should I get for Ahman Green?

I'd look long and hard at the O-Line situations on both teams. Neither did diddly last week. But I'd say Davis has more upside. He's the focus of that offense. You can't say the same about Green.

That's just it. Both O-Lines blow. Both teams have bad defenses. So both teams will be forced to pass more often. I think that gives Davis the edge. However, his size and the burden put on him makes me wonder about his health. :?

Jump on that! That is a great deal for you.. between losing touches to Henry, Brown's questionable ability to stay healthy and the fact that Tennesse has no defense- so will need to abandon the run in alot of games because they are behind- I say pull the trigger

How mnay RB's do you start? I would say stand pat and try to dump Green for decent WR. His value is up now because of Walker's injury- so you may get above value for him.

Sure you can. Especially with Walker out for the year.
Nope, Favre is the focus of that offense. No matter what happens in Houston, Davis will get his touches. Even if the Texans are down by 24 in the 4th, Davis will get touches on short passes. Green will not get those kind of touches because Favre can get the ball downfield.

Excellent point.
Sin,
Pissed-off Davis owner who saw him catch two passes against the Bills
I do however agree with your point that the Texans offense runs through Domanick.

Green is the better receiver
and running back. Davis' production has been no better than decent throughout his career and there is no reason to believe it will get any better.
Still stuck in 2003 eh?

He's an overrated journeyman RB on a shit team that can't score to save it's life.
1188 yards and 13 TDs to go with 588 recieving yards and another TD is hardly journeyman work. No, he's not a top 5 back. But he's a damn sight better than Green will be this year.

Just saw an interesting stat. Tomlinson caught zero passes against the Cowboys.
I think he'll bounce back.

WTF?? Is that like a 6 team league or some shit? How'd you get all of those RBs?
