Look out for the Bucs

As much as I hate to prop Chucky,so far the Bucs have looked good. Cadillac Williams is the real deal, and that Buc D has been impressive. Granted they've played the Viqueens, and the Camels(from far away doesnt it look like there is a camel on the Bills helmet?). Gruden is limiting Grieses passing and relying on a pretty deep running attack.

BTW was it I who picked Minnehaha to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl??

The Buc defense is still nails. They were 5th overall last year(believe it or not) and will make a serious run at a return to number one defense in the league. A nice mix of youth and vets make this hard to read. The biggest difference is Caddy. He is a larger version of Dunn which means he can actually break tackles. The South will be tough.

Not looking forward to the Lions making the trip to pirate ship on Week 4...they have a bye in Week 3. Williams is going to run wild on the Lions.

K Jones should probably get about 4 rushing yards against the Bucs.

That defense is going to end Favre's streak net week! There is no way in hell his offensive line will hold up to those guys. Especially now that Hovan is down there and he is licking his chops for a shot at Favre. No wonder why Favre looked like he had just lost his best friend after the Browns game. He knows next week he's toast.

I for one didnt think the Bucs would start the season as good as they have. Caddy is impressive and that D is still nasty. They go to Green Bay next week, so 3-0 is doable.

If they run him only 8 times, you're probably right. The Lions were a completely different team from last week. They were mentally tough and didn't make mistakes last week...this week, they're heads were up their collective asses. You play like that against a team like the Bucs and they'll lose another game by 32 points.

It definitely doesn't help a RB when his QB throws 5 INTs and the team is down 31-6 at halftime.

their season will depend on Griese

When he makes the throws, they can move the ball, running and short passing. when he makes bad throws, it stalls the running game, and they have to win ugly.

Kiffin is nails, no matter who he loses, he reloads the defense!

Just saw that Caddy has the best 2 game start by any RB in the history of the league. Much too early but you gotta like what you see so far.

Next week against the Packers the Cadillac is a solid start! Two TDs and 150YDs.

Cadillac reminds me of Willie Parker. Lots of speed and enough power to break arm tackles and keep moving forward. If the kid stays healthy, the sky's the limit.

I started him against the Bills defense in on of my leagues. Looking at his next 4 starts you have...

at Green Bay Packers
Detroit Lions
at New York Jets
Miami Dolphins

I think the Jackasses are going to get a ride in the Caddy as well.

Better hope Alstott gets hurt. Chucky is giving him the rock in the 10.

HOPE he gets hurt? Christ, you can set your clock by Alstott's injuries.

The South isn't going to see a whole lot of competition outside of their division so let's not get crazy Bucfan. One of the critical games will be vs. New England which Carolina has passed and New Orleans somehow escaped (bastards). If New Orleans takes out The G-Men tomorrow, they have the leg up in the division especially with them turning the tide against Carolina as they have been giving Tampa some problems even during Tampa's best years. I'm not sold on either. The division decider in my opinion is whether or not Carolina is going to be able to figure out Vick at least once this year.

i had

1-1 vs car
1-1 vs NO the aints give tampa too many problems.
2-0 vs atl minus a pittman fumble they would be 6-0, instead they are 5-1 vs vick??

i had them 5-1 going into bye. (loss at Minny)

Well, the key is still the O line. It seems they dont need to give Caddy all that much for him to excel. The kid has alot more skills then I originally gave him credit for. Defense has almost seemed to improve from last year, albeit we are only 2 games in. Week one I thought they were still a top ten unit, hell they may be a top 5.

On a side note, yesterdays game was one of the most God-awful, oppressively hot games I've attended in Tampa in the last 20 years. You could just see the Bills D melting out there, was just a matter of time before the run beat them into submission.

2-0 is a nice, surprising start, and the schedule leading into the bye is favorable. Green Bay is next in line....

Yeah. If we get into the playoffs, that'd be fucking brilliant. But I can't see us going any further just yet.

20 years ago the Bucs were just starting to fade into utter sucketude. Who would have thought with their fan base that it would have taken 15 more years and an owner from Crapchester to pull them out of their swandive to the bottom of the heap.

Even I wouldn't be stupid enough to compare someone to another player who hasn't even rushed for 500 yards in his career. And I'm a girl. Always the homer, huh? You're like that girl at the party who won't shut up about her b/f.

Listen bitch, stfu. No one cares!!! Can you like... talk about someone else for once in your miserable fucking existence??!!
