offer up a prayer to your higher power, send a little karma, anything.

It looks like we are about to take this storm right up our ass! So many here are tapped out from helping with Katrina and now they are facing a similar situation.

I don't wish this storm on anyone, but I am asking for a northward or southward turn anytime now.

I'll be in Houston in 5 days...

or maybe I'll wait a day or two...

I love the people of Houston, and wish you, us the best.

Good luck to you University(Lefty), I'll be thinking of "you" in the Medical Center area, as I make my way down.

Lefty, if you or any of yours need a place to stay up north, my PM box is open, along with an extra room.

Sorry Bro prayers go out for your survival but in all honesty it's your turn to take one for the team and South Texass is due.

The rest of the Gulf Coast has had more than their fair share for the last 4 years now ;)

I guess this would be a bad time to break out the Sooner rendition of Poor Texass?

Yeah, like I said in the other thread, best of luck to all down there, especially my family. Of my 50+ relatives that live on the coast of Freeport, all are evacuating except for my dad. He's gotta stay for work since he is on the hurricane response team.

God, I can't believe where I grew up might get wiped out.

Those evacuees that went from New Orleans to Houston are probably thinking that this hurricane stuff is getting too much play....

RF, thanks for the offer that is very kind. I have booked a block of rooms in Waco for myself and our employees. We are heading out in a large caravan tomorrow morning around 6.

I also want to give my thanks to the Home Depot in Corpus Christi for their help. They took my CC over the phone and allowed one of our employees kids to pick up the 3 bundles of plywood since H-town has been picked clean.
