When I try to save a document, it pops up with "Word cannot complete the save due to a file permission error." It's never done this before today. Does anybody know what the hell this means or how to fix it? This paper is due in an hour. :x

The file was probably open elsewhere.

I dont use mac but I had trouble with my Word 2002 when it upgraded from ms.. there is something wrong with the new updates...

try unstalling and the reinstalling word..
