I remember seeing the same thing early last year. The dude looks slow. I don't know if he is or not but he got the job done. Funny you say that because it looks like he is when you watch him run.

I don't thinks there is a major injury, like most backs maybe a nagging one. Both teams have good run stoppers and the Pats are still feeling out their O line.
It seemed to me that Brady was changing a lot of plays at the line, mostly to passes. Not sure if he'll get off this week against Pitts D, but I'm not concerned. In fact, I've been declining all trade offers I've been getting on Dillon.

Dillon does look like he's slowing down. Big backs with a lot of miles slow down quickly, just ask Eddie George. If Cory doesn't start picking it up I'd expect Billichick to start using Kevin Faulk more. Faulk looks like he has much better burst, and catches the ball better too.
Losing OG Joe Andruzzi to the Browns might also have something to do with Dillon’s lack of productivity.

The line IS NOT getting the job done up front. As long as this continues so will the problems with the entire offense. Its real easy to tee off on the pass rush if you know a team won't/can't run. How the Patriots respond respond this week in Pittsburgh could be a barometer for how the rest of the season may turn out.
