There should be a penalty for...

1. Standing there making that "throw the flag" motion like that's going to convince the ref to throw one.
2. Players who stand around the pile on a fumble and make the "we got it" motion.
Step the fuck back morons and let the officials do their job.

How about idiots standing with their hands over their head when their guy gets stopped on the two?

Yeah, I'll take that one too.

How about the defensive player who jumps up and down after a crushing hit on a player who just gianed 25 yards?
In Dallas, they call this the "Darren Hambrick Celebration".

Or the clown who scoops up the ball while the whistle is being blown and then trots anywhere from 20-80 yards to the paint KNOWING that the score wont count. Really slows down the game .

Who cares? The refs are already too busy calling phantom penalties to inject themselves into the game...
Let these fools act the fool, it's just more entertainment.

Nolesy, what you describe is a delay of game foul. I have seen that called a few times over the years. I haven't had the opportunity to call it, but my crew has called it.
It is unlikely you will see it called until the guy covers about 30 yards. We will also pass on it in a really loud stadium where the player might not hear the whistle.

Speaking of Dallas, how about the "Michael Irvin Celebration" for jumping up and down like you just made the game-winning catch in the Super Bowl when you catch a 7-yard pass on 2nd and 15.

Not only that but how 'bout the same player who jumps up and down after a crushing hit on a player who just gained 25 yards
and then gets in his face and starts talking shit?! (Arkansas player is good at this.)

Yeah, there is nothing I like as much as a celebration by a losing team.
You play like crap all day, are down 30-0 of 40-0 and you make a tackle (which is your job anyway) and then we get a big celebration.
Just great, how come you didn't play like that all game.
Instead, how about you pick yourself up, get back to the line and keep doing that.

Or the CB who jumps up after knocking a pass a way and waves his arms like a ref when there's a missed field goal. Even though the same WR has caught 13 other passes for 165 yards and 2 scores. That's called the "Clifford Jefferson".
