By the way, i know it's not an endzone shot here. I didn't make this clip, but I just found it online. I'll see if I can find a picture that better shows the alignment. Just thought you might like to see the play

Watch the video frame-by-frame, and watch the Oregon lineman come into the picture from the left on all fours. A Trojan defender is in pursuit and the the Oregon lineman rolls to his back to intentionally trip the defender. Here's a shot of the moment of impact:
If you watch it frame-by-frame it's clear the guy spins to leg-whip the defender and bring him down.
Jackson's penalty is somewhat irrelevant.

You mean like Colvin's touchdown had Oregon not been called for the penalty?

Nope. I don't think we would have had a different winner at the end of the game, if that TD stood.
It would have made it 31-20 with 10 minutes to go, though, which is a little bit more than irrelevant.
