First Hank Poteat, then Chad Brown and nor Famous Amos. New England is starting to look like Pittsburgh East.
Bill Belichick must be one desperate motherfucker if he's signing Zeroue.

Get used to a guy who doesn't play as fast or as strong as he looks.

Maybe in Pittsburgh but it seems like when they come here they become Champions......

I'll actually have to agree with B here.... This is not like Dillon who had talent, but was just disgruntled. Amos has been a huge disappointment since he left West Virgnia... He was drafted in hopes of being the BUS- but he goes down too easily and doesn't hit holes the same.

We shall see. You've taken on a lot of Cowher's old baggage. One or two of the old 6-10 crew is one thing. But you guys have Poteat, Zeroue and Chad Scott. That's like sprinkling salt water on steel.

Actually I believe Poteat was cut during pre-season. He got his ring last year anyway......
He will be a backup so I hope not to see too much of him anyway.

Dillon aside, the Pats are always looking for lesser known parts to fit in their puzzle. It's not like they are looking to have Zeroue replace Dillon as feature back and grind out 1450 yds this year like Cowher-Power had hoped. You may not even see him suit up at all if he's too stupid to pick up the Pats' scheme. They have a formula in place which utilizes all 53 men on the roster and until proven otherwise, anything Pioli and Belichick will be gold.

While in PGH, Amos basically proved to all interested parties that he wasn't that good. Perhaps he's improved? Hard to imagine that...

He is a backup and at most a 3rd down option. Hopefully he steps up his game being here. Guys seem to do that here. Vrabel for example. Thanks for him by the way.......
If he doesn't show Belichick the ability to play he won't see the field. I know that for sure.....

Vrabel has been great for NE. I'm happy with Aaron Smith, Kimo, and Casey Hampton. I'm also happy with the PGH LB corps, excepting Joey Porter. Joey looks like he's seen better days.

Good signing for the Patriots.
Right about now, Chris Berman is polishing up his old "Famous Amos" resets. :P
