First of all, I doubt you "know" PSU, but we'll let that slide.

But what he's talking about are the stupid one line posts that typically don't add to the conversation. You and I had this same talk about 6 months ago, when you said you knew more than 80% of the posters on here. Well, you're going about your old ways again. Having said that, I think there's a strong possibility that Tiberious and Cicero are really the same person. Both claim to know the other offline, and I believe both are FSU football fans and Duke basketball fans. Their writing styles are also very similar.

I know there's a no trolling rule on this board, but there are ways to troll and still fly under the mods' radar screen. Not that I'm advocating that, mind you.

Thank you, Sky. I feel like the word "swampdonkey" doesn't get enough run and I'm tired of using my other phrases, like "buttfuck you in the mouth" since other boards have ruined them by their overuse.

Only a few problems with that: (1) ND doesn't play in the Big Ten now, and didn't play in the Big Ten in '93, or at any other time, for that matter; and (2) ND didn't win the national championship in '93.

Nice attempt at backpedaling. Truth is, ND has played more than three games against Big Ten schools only four times since 1968. In 1968, I was still a pre-schooler, and I suspect you weren't born yet. And yes, they did play five Big Ten schools in 1991 and 1992. But one of those schools was Penn State. ND and Penn State had signed a long-term deal to begin in the early 1980's, back when Penn State was still an independent. That series ultimately was a casualty of Penn State's decision to join the Big Ten.

Just for fun, here's a conference breakdown of ND's opponents on their 1988 schedule, based on conference alignments at the time:

Independents: 5 (Miami, Navy, Penn State, Pitt, and West Virginia in Fiesta Bowl)
Big Ten: 3 (Michigan, Michigan State, and Purdue)
Pac-10: 2 (Stanford and USC)
SWC: 1 (Rice)
WAC: 1 (Air Force)

I wouldn't call that a Big Ten schedule.
