RACK the "Major League" reset!
Pedro Cerrano: Bats, they are sick. I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid. I ask Jobu to come, take fear from bats. I offer him cigar, rum. He will come.
Eddie Harris: You know you might think about taking Jesus Christ as your savior instead of fooling around with all this stuff.
Jake Taylor: Harris.
Pedro Cerrano: Jesus, I like him very much, but he no help with curveball.
Eddie Harris: You trying to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?

Wow, they went out with a wimper after how they played for the better part of a few months. Not so sold on the idea of Wedge being the AL Manager of the Year after seeing how they crumbled when they needed to win games this week. I might give the nod to Guillen for how well the Sox played for 3/4 of the season.

Horrible run. Lose 5 in the last week in 1 run games.

No way Guillen is manager of the year, give it to Scioscia!

Jesus can't hit a curveball and neither can anyone batting 3-9 in the Cleveland order. Broussard must have left 20 men on base in this homestand.

Scioscia was my preaseason pick but with the way Chicago played for the first 4 months of the year...you have to give him the nod. If the Indians overtook them in the end, I would've given it to Wedge but it was between him and Guillen.

The White Sox crumbled and nearly choked themselves the last 2 months of the season almost blowing that 15 game lead. Guillen has 2 hammers in the starting rotation Buerhle & Garcia and plenty of hitting. Wedge did a great job with all the young players he had, so I'd give it to him.
As for the NL manager of the year, I'd give it to Garner. The Stros lose Beltran, Kent and essentially Bagwell, plus the 14-32 start and they still make the playoffs.

Guillen and Garner- makes sense to me.
