Just to lay to final rest an old argument...

Only one player in baseball this year had 30+ home runs, 100+ rbis, 20+ stolen bases, and a .300+ average.

Jason Bay

How'd Khalil do this year?

Jason who?

Oh yeah, that's the guy I never heard of whom Yahoo auto-drafted for me in the jackass league and I promptly dumped.

I wonder why my team sucked so bad?

When I read the excerpt about Bay, GeighRod had not stolen those 3 bases.

None of which deters the original intent of this thread.

Bay's fine performance in the regular season was overshadowed
by his pathetic performance in the "Home Run Derby". :P

Not that well.

But he's a much better shortstop, and he'll be playing tomorrow.

Did mention that the Pads are 3-4 against the 'Stros.

I didn't think so.

But actually that's a good thing because they were 0-6 against the Phillies.

Padres barely over .500

Why? They kicked ass in May and licked ass the rest of the year.

The Padres are a joke. The only thing worse than their record are their road uniforms.

Ahhhh, you can go FUCK yourself with a splintered broom handle. The Padres will shock the league. Afterwards don't be looking for a handjob as you sit cowering in the corner with your battered and bloodied rectum.

:D :D :D

It's on baby, at least they are in the second season.

The time honored cry of impending doom.

Damn I miss Vince Lombardi...

That's like going to a whorehouse, finding out that Jessica Alba is making a once in a lifetime appearance, find yourself flaccid and crying out...."At least I was there."
