I used to work in Clinical Informatics prior to getting mobilized..

I am an RN with a 2 year degree in Computer Programming.
My job is to be the interface between HealthCare Providers and Information Services.

I will likely be mobilized for another 2 years or so BUT I would like to prepare myself for when I leave the military...

btw..I am mobilized stateside (and not likely to go overseas), so I can attend schools...

My questions for you are:

What do you do in the IT/IS world?
How many years?
Are you happy in your job?

What do you see as HOT $$$ computer industry fields in the next 2-5 years??

Did you flush this toilet?

Maybe... You know what, maybe Jinx flushed it. I saw little Jinxy in there last night and he took a squatted... relieved himself.

Jinx knows not to use that toilet and even if he did, he'd never flush it.

What does it matter?

The matter, Jack RN, is that when this toilet is flushed, it runs, and when you have a septic tank that's nearly full and a toilet that's been running all night, then you could have a hell of a problem.

Medical place is as good as any. Lots of Hospitals are making a shitload of money and a lot of the smaller ones need good IT people but don't have a whole large IT department, which means if you can work your way in, you could have a job for life with good $$.
