That was within the 5 yards, Ace.
You cannot hold onto the recievr- even in 5 yards.. you have to chuck and release. He hit him and kept his hands on him- that is not legal.

This just in - Priest Holmes is much better than LJ.

Cracks me up all the dim bulbs fans & media that thought he'd be better than Priest

The ONLY thing he has over Priest is youth.. but with Priest being a backup his first few years- that equals that out. Priest is 10 times a better RB

Now lets see if France can actually hit the extra point...

Props to the Eagles - I've never seen a team blow a lead or momentum like the Chiefs did today.

You can blame this loss on turnovers, but that's just the begininng. The pass coverage looked totally lost. How do you not account for TO on every fucking play?

On the offensive side, Larry Johnson needs to keep his ass on the bench until he gets some focus. He's great at hitting a hole quick, but on the fumble he totally lost concentration on getting the handoff.

And how do you only throw to Gonzalez 4 times? Damn, it's like Al Saunders forgot every thing that made us successful last year. Get the ball to Priest and Gonzalez let them make plays.

The O-line is a sieve, but Green's vision is lacking. He's forcing throws and not looking off receivers.

If you'd have told me without Warfield, Roaf and Welbourne we'd start the season 2-2, I'd have taken it. Now headed into the bye, I'm not feeling it at all.

Chiefs are headed into a soft stretch starting week 6 - we'll see if they can get their act together.

Well- Ugly-Ass game on both sides... after we tightened up at the end of the first quarter- we started playing our game.. Shut down the run game (after Holmes ran wild in that first quarter), got a few picks, got in Green's face... McNabb threw all over the place... Ugly win- but a win none the less....

Sorry about that Chiefs's fans....

Bring on Dallas!

Props to the Eagles.

That fumble might as well have been a lump of Kryptonite, as we simply watched the game slip through our fingers from that point on.

I'm with Scott on 2-2 at this point. Would have been thrilled weeks ago to have this record at present, but we've had back-to-back UGLY losses. The kind that don't exactly come out in the wash.

Ugh ...

Very impressive comeback by the Eagles, Chefs kept getting burned by the pass, did the Eagles even have 100 yards on the ground?

Nope 48 passing plays, 13 rushing plays.

Biggest. Choke. Ever.

Props to the Eagles. They never lost focus after the initial onslaught like most teams would. McNabb is a warrior. How many times did we have him dead to rights only to see him slip from the grasp and complete another killer pass for a 1st down?

Trent on the other hand, if you simply lay a finger on him, he'll crumple like an empty beer can.

As for our defense, and I hesitate to call it that, how many damn balls did they have chances to intercept but let slip right thru their hands? How many times did they let Owens scamper thru the secondary unchecked and unmolested? That was pathetic. I thought they would be much improved this season with the quality additions, but it looks exactly like the same putrid defensive effort that we've been suffering thru the last 3 years.

I'm as die-hard as they come, but this team is going no where even if they somehow were to sneak in the playoffs. They lack toughness and heart, and in many cases are just physically overmatched.

This sucks for Chief fan, no doubt about it.

The O-line is a sieve
ATFY (Answered That For Yourself)

That's why Gonzalez was only thrown to four times. They kept him in as a blocker most of the game to cover for the O-line woes. Problem is, Philly figured that out by the beginning of the first quarter and stopped worrying about defending against Gonzalez. Saunders failed to see that Philly made the adjustment and kept running scared.

Huge choke.

You all have it all wrong. The Chiefs are fine. The REAL problem is just as the ownership and the front office have been complaining about. Arrowhead needs 300-400 million in stadium renovations. The Arrowhead Mystique headed off to the pisser at the start of the 2nd qtr, fought the crowded concourses and long lines until the last few minutes of the game. Now if we as taxpayers handed over the $$$$ that would have never happened. Arrowhead Mystique takes a piss, grabs 2 more beers, and Chiefs roll 41-10.

Sin,

No mood for that garbage right now, dave. You got an actual take on the game rather than front office/civic hatah bullshit?

Otherwise, fuck off.

Wags, feel free to fuck yourself. While there was a bit of sarcasm in my post ...... there was a lot of truth ya red ass. Arrowhead Mystique was in full effect 1st qtr, and most of the 2nd qtr. From that point on, a much better team took control of the situation, avoided the intimidation, and layed the fucking wood to the Chiefs. Like that take better, bitter-man?

I had predicted an Eagles loss this week and the Chiefs almost proved me right, except they forgot to play 4 quarters.

Rack the Iggles taking the Chiefs' haymaker early and battling to the final round for the win. It is damn clear that TO and McNabb have put differences aside with the way they have connected so far.

Respect and recognize, haters.

why, ankle nibbler, aren't you talking about your team?

Just curious, since they're 4-0.

Surely you must have more of a life than just following the Chiefs around looking for something to gum on?

Wait, your BEB - I forgot you don't have a life.

KCperson: Listen, its your fat mascot, Paul. He barely finishes chewing that side of beef before opening his piehole to spew inane shots at your betters. Not only that, the kc myopia machine is well documented in here. So, spare me the ankle-nibbling........hear me?

Grow some modesty and everyone won't have to regulate average kcfan. You have a decent team but you ain't all that.

Same shit different thread.

Paul is what he is, and really I don't think I've really seen you ever offer much of a take on anything, other than shots at paul.

If that's what pops your cork you need to venture over to main street and meet this dude:

When you finally have a take on your 4-0 Bucs or anything NFL, make sure and let us know.

Yawn......same shit different kcposter.

Please, you kc folk run your mouths incessantly until you get teh smackdown which is always nice. You guys win one game and you are suddenly challenging for the Super Bowl. Its funny. You guys do it every year since I have been posting on SCIII. It ends the same way with kcfan eating humble casserole. Maybe you guys should temper it a bit. Just a suggestion.

PS The Bucs are 4-0. That's all you need to know.
