not sure what to make of denver. they've looked better each week.
the skins also look better each week. the offense has actually moved the ball well in 2 of their 3 games, and the D has been nearly perfect (flea flicker vs dallas and a late TD drive last week vs seattle when they were hardly on the field all day have been their only negatives).
the skins shouldnt win- denver is too tough a place to play (although the skins won there 4 years ago with a QB whose name i can't even remember right now).
hopefully portis gets inspired and makes something out of the pin holes he's getting to run through.
if the skins win one out of the next 2 (at KC next week) i'll be happy.

Think Portis and Bailey will be up for this game? The best Defense wins this game.
Overtime win for the the skins.

Bitter?
Should be a low scoring game, I'd feel alot better about it if it was at FedEx but it is a winnable game. Portis is going to be up for this game big time. I can't wait to see Chump get beat for 2 TD.

Quit ankle biting Jeff, it really doesn't suit you well. Bitter is when your team loses 14 out of 15 games. If the Cowboys indeed follow that path you bet your ass I will be one bitter mother fucker. Any prediction of a Foreskin victory is basically homerism. Denver has a pretty damn good defense and not to mention a much better offense than your squad. If it was in Hogtown I might be a little inclined to give you guys a thumbs up, but being its at Invesco, I just can't imagine the Foreskins getting the job done. I'm not thinking blowout because you guys have a damn good defense of your own (pains me to say that), but Denver will walk away with the win.

actually the skins have the #14 O in the league while denver is at #19. and our D is ranked a slot higher, too, at #5.
while this means less when the broncos play at home, i am compelled to correct your errors.
thank you.
and in case you were wondering, the skins are 3rd in the league in time of possession and #2 in 3rd down conversions. the broncos are 7th in TOP, but dead last in the league at 3rd down conversions.

The Skins are a team that is due for an offensive explosion. Denver will be hard pressed to put 8 men in the box to shut down Portis when Santana Moss is running all over Champ Bailey's tore up hammy.

Slow down there DF, just giving you a little good natured ribbing. No need to get defensive.
As for the game, all I did was make a prediction and I said it'll be a good game. If this was Indy the Skins were playing I would not be predicting a win. We won in Denver 4 years ago with Marty as coach and Kent Graham at QB. It should be a great game and probably come down to a late FG. Now if I said "34-10 Skins!", which I didn't, that would be a major homer pick. The Broncos are still not a proven team and any team with Jake Plummer at QB could easily blow a game with his knack for INT's and mistakes.

Sorry, no offensive explosions this week. Trevor Pryce is going to snap Brunell like a pencil. As much as it pains me to admit, the Rat was right about that D line. It's no fucking joke.
Dungver is going stomp the living shit out of the Skins.
Well looks like they shouldn't even play the game, mvscal just told us what's going to happen!
If the Fins can beat the Donks with Gus Frerotte at QB, Brunell can get the job done himself. And Brunell knows how to win in Denver, we all remember the 96 playoffs.

'Skins are decent this year but as mentioned, the Broncos are looking better each week.
I don't think Portis will be able to stand up to the Denver D and Plummer keeps it on the ground for most of the plays....

How very unsurprising to witness Foreskin fan tarding up yet another thread with ridiculous predicions and foolish statements in general.
It stands to reason though, when you have been on the losing end of trades with Denver twice in recent years I suppose the pain becomes unbearable after a while.
Bow down and thanks the gods you have a decent defense Foreskin fan. This is the only hope you have of avoiding a complete and utter blowout. Portis is gonna find that he is not as welcome in Denver as he once was. Considering that you have no QB that is worth a shit on your roster and marginal receivers at best I'd have to say that Sonic will find yards to come by few and far between.
When you fall behind Foreskin fan (and you will) our D line will tee off on whatever sacrificial lamb you line up behind center. Whether it's a 47 year old Brunell or Patrick (I couldn't hit the ocean with one of my passes) Ramsey the results will be the same.
To be honest your team has really been pissing me off so far. I expected a top ten pick out of you bitches (Yet another rape by Shanny) but it appears that Gibbs has been pouring his Viagra stash into the teams water or something because you have manned up at times. Don't get carried away though bitches, a combo of a light schedule and a fairytale finish is the only reason you can stake such a claim.
All that shit ends soon enough though. Your feeble minded coach doesn't have what it takes any more and he will be left shaking and confused after the master unveils his plan for the game. Portis will sadly view the offense he left behind tearing down the field on one drive after another as we plug in whoever the fuck we feel like to bust 100 + yards.
We have a team Foreskin fan, you have Portis and nothing else on offense. Yeah yeah he ran for a bunch of yards but how is that YPC looking nowadays? It was pretty fucking respectable while he was here. Over 5 I think, is he anywhere near 5 a carry now?
![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
Hmmm what could the difference be?
Portis gets about 25 carries for about 75 yards. Brunell is pleading with the old fart Gibbs to pull him after our 5th sack. Bailey takes one to the house just to remind you that he is a better player than Portis ever will be. Broncos win going away in this one.
Reality is a bitch Foreskin fan and soon enough you will be ours.

I'm sorry to say Mike that you're stooping to ICSF's stupidity level with that prediction of 35 points by the Donks. No point total of more than 20 should be mentioned in the same sentence with the name "Jake Plummer".
The Redskins have a great defense and this will be a low scoring game.
I'm not going to lower myself and respond to the mindless, babbling garbage that ICSF posted. I guess Bronco Rob is still giving him shockers on a daily basis.

The Redskins are quite possibly the worst 3-0 team ever in the history of the NFL. This IS the NFL though, which means No Forever Luck. You can't expect an NFL team with slightly more offensive firepower than me and 10 of my friends to keep lucking out W's. They've got a punchers chance in this game only because they do have a very aggressive and attacking D and the opposing QB is Jake Plummer. That said, the Skins LBs get out of position easily, take bad angles, and overpursue against QB's that can scramble, so I think Jake the Snake will be aight. A couple FG's won't be enough this week.
Broncos- 17
Redskins- 6
And note to Redskin fan. Enjoy the 3-0, a W is still a W, but try to keep some semblance of reality about your team. Move the ball a couple inches in everyone of their games and you're looking at 0-3 instead.

Gee Shine who took a dump in your Cheerios this morning? :?
The Skins have proven they can win close games in the clutch. Remind me, who have your Bengals beaten this season? Brownies, Queens, and Texans ring a bell? Yeah that's a real rock solid 4-0.

Plummer is having a more solid of a season than expected. If "no more than 20 points should be mentioned in the same sentence with the name Jake Plummer" then why did the Broncos drop 30 on KC?
Sure the other games the Broncos scored no more than 20 to win their games, with the exception of week 1, but it's scoreboard that matters right?
The team is getting better as the weeks go and even I'm getting more and more impressed.
With the Broncos running game, the brick wall as a defense, plus the home advantage of Invesco Field, don't be surprised if 35 is dropped on the 'Skins on Sunday.

Because the Chefs passing defense is on the same level with a high school. I should have said that on the condition that a team's defense actually shows up for the game, which the Chefs D didn't.
The Redskins have one of the top defenses in the league, and they completely shut down Shaun Alexander in the 1st half. Hasselbeck couldn't get the job done and he's better than Plummer. The Donks won't get anywhere near 35 points.

Rack the Redskins for coming to Denver and making it a great game! So much for the draft pick we’re getting from them, they’re gonna win some games this year.
Rack the Bronco Fans that sat through the cold rain from kickoff to final!
Big props to xtremeplzr for sticking it out in the rain with her team down 21-10 going into the 4th quarter. One of us had to go home wet and bummed out.

Great game, but the rookie, Karl Paymah nearly single handedly blew the whole thing for us. A holding penalty when they were about to punt, a late hit which led to that touchdown. Completely unacceptable. Thankfully the defense, namely Ian Gold, did step up and keep the conversion from happening. Otherwise, Karl would have been 100% at fault had we lost.
I'm sure this game would have been much higher scoring had it not been for the conditions.
Rack the Broncos and bring on New England!

Not only did the Redskins fare better than I expected, they showed some heart that seemed to be lacking for a few years.
This team might just be developing into a team. Some more discipline, a few more linemen, and some glasses for Brunnell. We might just be a contender ...... soon.
I want to bitch about the "Tuck" rule, but I know better. The D let some big plays and big runs by and at least one due to poor tackling. Those would have rendered the loss of 2 points irrelevant.
Great game.
RACK The Skins and Good Luck Denver.

FOOO! Congrats to Denver for the win. On a side note, I'm very impressed with what i saw here today, VERY IMPRESSED. I was wondering if we were gonna have a problem reaching the endzone, very impressive IMHO.
Shiner,
You've always been a hater. If the Skins are that bad then Denver is just as bad...Not! 2 Great teams played tonight, i just wish both teams could have played healthy to make it even more exciting.
