USF gets the nod for now with wins over Auburn and WVU. Beating Oregon State and Rutgers is good but we still have alot to prove. Congrats to your guys for the win today. Winning is all that matters and they got the W. We'll see you in two weeks :)

Well, they didn't win by two or more TDs but I'll take a five point win at Rutgers any day. People have to start taking notice of the Bearcats now that they are 6-0 and own a road victory over a top 25 team. With Louisville coming to Cincinnati next week, the Cats have a real chance to move to 7-0 b...

Brian Kelly is one HELL of a coach. People around here are worried that he'll bolt for a higher profile job. The popular thought is that he'll leave for Michigan if they offer him the job since he coached at Grand Valley State (I think thats where he was) and Central Michigan. He has emphatically st...

Cincinnati at Rutgers

Who would have thought five years ago that this game would mean ANYTHING to anyone outside of these two programs?? I know I wouldn't have. This game is huge in the Big East. The Bearcats are rolling. The offense and defense look equally dominating. I have alot of faith in this team and I think they ...

Cincinnati coach Brian Kelly puts foot in mouth

Not a good idea. Earlier this week, Kelly questioned if Cincinnati should continue their standing home-and-home arrangement with the Miami Redhawks. There are only four series in the nation older than this one and it means alot to fans around here. His argument was that Cincinnati probably shouldn't...

Not meant as an attack on you At Large but why is everyone so damned consumed with what ESPN apparently thinks of their team? Why is everyone convinced that ESPN has some kind of grudge against their team? I've got news.......ESPN gives more coverage to the best teams AT THAT TIME. USC is at the top...

Huskers keep it close for a half but the Trojans ultimately wear them down like they do to almost every other team they play. USC at Lincoln at night should make for an awesome atmosphere though.

SunCoast Sooner, that's all debatable. I'll admit that I can't find many top 20 measures "historically" but they are right there in three of the most important measures. CU ranks #17 in all time wins (by my research) and #23 in all time winning percentage. That alone qualifies them for top...

i don't see CU giving the conference that much, really. or even the Pac-10. CU has the minimum of sports to be D-1. if the cross country championships matter, then Baylor matters in the "low" sports. I couldn't disagree more. CU is one of the top 20 programs in college football history in...

I still think they start Big 12 play at 3-1. Which means that they'll likely end up at 4-8 with their only conference win coming against ISU. Wait... do they play Baylor? If so, maybe 5-7. Missouri wouldn't be Missouri if they didn't fall short of expectations every year. Colorado has won the North...

The Buffs still have alot of work to do but I still think this year will be ok for them in the end. The offense needs time to jell and Hawkins clearly needs a running game to be able to succeed. I still think they start Big 12 play at 3-1.

Oregon State at Cincinnati tonight on ESPN

Take a look at the Bearcats tonight and let me know what you think. I look forward to seeing how the offense looks against a solid football team. I have no idea what to expect tonight. The 59-3 win over SE Missouri State last week was impressive but the opponent was so bad that I don't truly know ho...

Ok, I guess that makes them and Moeller fairly equal which would explain why they scored a TD with a minute left to beat the Crusaders. Moeller is the third ranked team in their CITY. Mission Viejo is #6 in their county which I'm sure has MANY more big schools than Cincinnati. It was a great game be...

First of all, Ohio teams are only allowed to travel to bordering states for games. Glenville isn't allowed to play in California. Second, this is week #2 in Ohio. If we're gonna talk about this then lets get it right. Mission Viejo beat Moeller 26-22. Colerain beat H...
