La Sexorcisto was good and the remixes of Astrocreep still gets played in my ride from time to time. Otherwise It's garbage. Rob Zombie is a total fucking tool. You have to be a total fucking tool to shamelessly ape Al Jourgensen's music and wardrobe five years after Ministry mattered. I've had a mi...

I think a case could be made for Molitor being overrated. For a 1b, 3b, and DH, his run production was pretty ordinary. Speaking of DH, Molitor may have benefited from that rule more than any player in history.

alkie's right, moot. Buck and Shannon used to say it all the time. the best way to kill a rally is to have someone hit a two-out homerun. the next guy flies out and the rally's over. just hope you scored enough before someone ended it. it's science. check it out. Then Buck and Shannon are moron's t...

Re: Most Overrated Legend

Cal Ripken. He was good for a long time. His attendance record has less to do with his skill than both his luck with injuries and his ability to stand up to managers who would otherwise play players who are better able to help their team. That's what it is; an attendance record. He may not have bee...

Ya know, I've never heard that album, at least not knowingly. I was very much into Bizarro back in the day but then lost track of the band. Just stole Dalliance, Blonde, and Rotterdam, am listening now. I like it, nothing like Bizarro however.

Steve Albini would be my first choice. P.J. Harvey's best was produced by Albini. Likewise The Jesus Lizard and Nirvana. Plus his Big Black and Rapeman stuff which I love. Hell, even fucking Bush didn't completely suck under Albini's tutelage.

Whatever. You listen to Scissor Sisters. So do I. There's nothing wrong with that. Tried and tried but can't get into the Decemberists or Death Cab or most other bands mention in dis tread. Must be age. Sepultura sucks ass, even with a genre handicap. Never listened to Damage Plan, don't plan to. I...

I like Lou a lot but yes, he has put out some pretty lamentable stuff. Most everything between Coney Island Baby and New York, two of my favorite Lou Reed albums, was dog shit with a few exceptions. The David Bowie/Mick Ronson produced Transformer was probably his best. The Original Rapper was actua...

From Dreaming #11: Memories and Hordes of Locusts While both of those tunes were on Dreaming #11, they both originally appeared on Not Of This Earth, his first album. Yes, but the live versions are far superior. Satriani excels live while his studio work seems a little flat. Overproduction will do ...

Don't much care for the guitar wizard types but Satriani has got some pretty good shit for the genre.

Circles, definitely Circles.

Nothing else critical that I'm aware of for a while. Mabe the Walkmen and Mates of State in Sept. I dig Mates of State for some reason.
