Left Shitter revealed in our latest MAGA thread that he is obsessed with the languages that other families in the US speak. This of course demonstrates his libertarian bonafides because nothing says live and let live like "speak English or leave."

And of course, he refused to explain his fascist thoughts on this. So, Left Shitter, why do you care which languages other families speak?

Just another page in the book from the guy who thinks it's appropriate to put wrist bands on kids who "don't live in the 'hood" at Halloween so he knows not to give them candy.

As for the other thread you threw up straw men and wanted me to explain those. You double down on that here. But it will play along since it will just kick your ass further.

As for languages I can speak and read/write in German. I can also speak Spanish without issue. My reading of Spanish is ok but I don’t feel comfortable writing in Spanish. I also know some Chinese and Japanese but that is limited to aviation and numbers. Just enough to communicate with ATC in a pinch if their English isn’t up to par. I also have slowly been working my way thru a Rosetta Stone French course but do not yet consider myself able to fully speak the language. I also know how to sign each letter of the English alphabet so in a pinch I can sign/spell words to communicate with a deaf person.

So how many languages do you know.

Further nowhere did I say speak English or leave. I did saw my family punished their kids for speaking German outside of the home. My family wanted their kids to assimilate into the local culture ASAP. They wanted them to be able to learn in the local school and that would only happen if they knew English. They also wanted their kids to be able to get jobs in the local community which also required knowing English. My family came to the US to be Americans and jumped in with both feet. This didn’t mean turning their back on their language or culture. Hell I learned German from my grandparents. And central Texas is covered in German culture and food and drink.

So it is possible to come to the US legally, learn the language, assimilate fully, find work, and keep your culture alive. But you know this but want to play dumb online. Further you are in favor of open borders and sanctuary cities for illegals which has nothing to do with this topic. My point is/was if you are legally immigrating you should want to fully assimilate.

As for your Halloween line you can’t even get those facts correct. The neighborhood didn’t put wrist bands on kids from other hoods, they put them on the kids from that hood. Keep up if you are going to attempt smack. Further you leave out the part where I don’t like any kids looking for candy on Halloween, from the hood or not.

Your obsession with Trump and I is noted, but it is starting to get weird and creepy. If you get a concealed carry license I am really going to worry.

I guess I feel lucky as a kid growing up in a small city of diverse cultures--Syracuse NY. My older family could speak German, that ended with me. Most of the kids I went to high school were Italian Americans. Many of their families spoke Italian in the homes. Some Polish people I knew, ditto for them too. I do not recall having to Press 1 for German, Press 2 for Italian, Press 3 for Polish or any other such nonsense when on the phone back then. That's why I do not understand why Spanish is being shoved down our throats. We are an English speaking nation. Good thing air traffic control mostly uses it world wide too. Imagine if each country had their own language, let along local dialects.
Most all scientific work is in English too. Works out pretty well.

Fair enough, you have to have at least 2 brain cells to rub together to speak more than one language. So props to you.

In the meantime, you have no idea how strict other families are with speaking their home language or English. Sure we have no idea exactly how strict others are in getting their kids to speech English, but when kids aren’t picking up the language in 2 or 3 years then we have a pretty good idea. Kids pick up languages easier than adults and often teach their parents.

Why are you trying to put limited government and illegal immigration in the same tent? Why have laws at all if you and your fellow liberals just want to ignore them? You certainly don’t want to ignore the tax laws, so why pick and choose?
