Re: PAC 12
I was on the sidelines for the Utah and Texas game last night. Utah was completely dominated. In the first half they thought they were fine and their size advantage would eventually breakdown Texas. Lots of comments along the lines of, "We are a playoff team, just keep doing what we do." Then towards the end of the game the talk was more, "Just go out and hurt one of these fuckers. No 7-5 team gets to embarrass us like this."
I haven't see a total beat down like this since LSU took down OU. Utah had one yard on returns all night. One single yard. Best rushing defense in the country? That probably says more about how poor the Pac 12 was at running the ball vs how good of a run defense Utah had.
Bottom line Utah is a bottom half Big XII team and a bottom feeder in the SEC or Big 11.

Teams with “athletes” beat Utah. USC, Oregon and Texas. Teams without “athletes” were beaten by Utah.
No shame there, but it doesn’t make you playoff caliber.

Re: PAC 12
I kind of got the feeling that Utah coaches didn't prepare them for a road game. They thought they had a neutral site game it turns out it was a Texas home game.

Re: PAC 12
I certainly didn't expect that. My best case scenario was that we get some guys back healthy and make a game of it and maybe even win. The talent is there. That was an ass whipping. Complete physical domination on both sides of the ball until Utah totally collapsed in the fourth quarter. Utah's only TD came on a scab dick penalty that gave them a new set of downs. Too bad their best game had to be the last.
Next season will tell if Sam is football Jesus or football Moses. He needs to drop about ten pounds, though. He's not shifty enough at 230.

Re: PAC 12
Wait. That makes Texas the national champion, right? I'm just trying to think like a stool sample here.

Re: PAC 12
The PAC fucked themselves when they went to 9 conference games.
The other member schools did nothing to plot against or tear down USC.
At present, USC's problems all stem from a lack of ethics and institutional control. That wasn't any other entities' responsibility but USC's. If you do a search for "USC lawsuits," they don't all fit on the first page of results.
USC's problem right now is money. And I hope they use all the $$$ they get from Oregon's big bowls and basketball tourney runs wisely.
Someone has to make some money for the conference.

Don't be silly -- it makes UT the runner-up to... Kal.
