Funny you should ask, I just saw this today on Netscape's 'Whats New".

Spin's Best Albums of 1985 to 2005:
1. Radiohead, "OK Computer"
2. Public Enemy, "It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back"
3. Nirvana, "Nevermind"
4. Pavement, "Slanted and Enchanted"
5. The Smiths, "The Queen Is Dead"
6. Pixies, "Surfer Rosa"
7. De La Soul, "3 Feet High and Rising"
8. Prince, "Sign O' the Times"
9. PJ Harvey, "Rid of Me"
10. NWA, "Straight Outta Compton"
Source: Spin magazine
Of course they hold as much appeal to me as shit stained drawers* do. :D

* Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Maybe they should try and find someone with at least a shred of taste to write their "best albums" list. Spin is such a rag, I wouldn't expect anything better out of them.

True - I wish I'd had a few SPINs lying around for shit paper once upon a time.

So, I guess Radiohead's a washout

Nothing like a good "Best of..." list to fuck things up.

I really don't listen to Radiohead as far as I know, I may be confusing them with Cracker.

There's no confusing you with someone who's informed on the topic.

Considering your chosen nic, you can probably relate --

Cracker opened every show of what was a 3 or 4 day GD stand(yeah, like I remember how many days it was.) Due to them starting at some really stupid time, like noon, or 2PM or something, I didn't make it inside for even one of their sets. I fucked some hippy sluts, set a bunch of vehicles on fire(sorry, I didn't know the campstove leaked fuel...my bad)), saw two dogs get stuck while copulating resulting in the female freaking out and running at speed for what must have been a few miles, and thoroghly enjoyed my parking spot next to the open-air public showers.....but I never made it inside for Cracker.

Good times.

Hi PSUFAN, thanks for asking. As a matter of fact, yes, all of their shit is good. I recommend checking out all of their albums because each one has its own unique sound — they experimented with different instruments and sounds and computers and their sound evolved from one album to the next. They are absolutely BRILLIANT.

Of course, I am biased because they are my favorite band in the whole world, but you asked...

I also highly recommend their live album They Might Be Wrong for the mere fact that their rendition of "Like Spinning Plates" is so good it brings a tear to my eye.

Also, I believe their new album comes out next year. This means a new tour. If you ever get the chance to see them, you will never regret it. Thom York will dance around the stage like the little, short, ugly, weirdo he is, but he is a GENIUS and he is SEXY. And I have a picture of him as my wallpaper on my computer.

Talking about Radiohead gets me all excited. When I think about them I touch myself.*

Excellent. The insult seems to garner so much more weight when wielded by an ex.
