Re: FIFA World Cup
I guess a tie with England is an accomplishment for colonist soccer. I may go to fb and try to goad EuroClone into making a visit so we can talk shit. He was big enough to do it after Iceland rolled Blighty a few years back. This is nearly as big.
Sure would have been nice to beat them outright, though.

Quiet because we knew the end result would be a huge fail in elimination.Dr_Phibes wrote:A bit quiet in here. England just got a giant boot stuck up their complacency.
Fucking brilliant. USA! USA!

Dude is literally wearing dude clothes but Donnie Dumb sees a guy in a dress. Or maybe he is looking at the guy in the tunic and thinks it is a dress. Reminds me of those memes where they show a bunch of homeless people in America under capitalism and the caption is, this is what socialism does. Just straight up lying.
Re: FIFA World Cup
It's all about soccer. It's about a fag waiting for a schpritz of jizz for being a good little faggot. He earned it and, gosh darnnit, he's ready for it.

That’s the funniest part. All these twats running homosmack so desperately want to suck a dick. That’s why the whole “black cock” thing was so hilarious and effective.

Re: FIFA World Cup
I watched the final this morning. Fortunately my cable company did a readers digest version and cut out a good bit of the regular time play.
It was the most exciting match I have ever seen. If this sort of play was typical, footie would be a hell of a lot bigger than it is in the states,
BUT, you fukkers really do need to do away with PK shootouts. Do the 30 min OT, then go to sudden deaf.
Also, in a sport where a single goal can be YYYYYYUUUUUUUGE, they really should rethink the whole penalty box thing.
In real football, a foul is assessed a penalty in yards. In soccer, the penalty is akin to awarding the other team a few TDs. The first penalty to the frogs was a very minor infraction which was arguably unintentional. The handball penalty was also unintentional. Dude fired a shot point blank. The dude was not purposely knocking down a shot to prevent a goal.
And one last thing.
Offsides.
At some point of the field, perhaps the top of the penalty box, players should be free to rush the goal. Make it like the hockey blue line. I have never seen so many offside calls or discussions by commentators about where or not someone was OS.
All my bitching aside, that was an amazing match. The first ARG goal was beautiful. And that ARG goalie is a fukking stud. He mindfukked the frogs with his bouncing around on the goal line. Mbappe was the best player on the field. Sorry Messi.

Re: FIFA World Cup
And why shouldn't he?
In today's usual nil-nil stalemate, one well executed flop is all it takes to win a match.
There is a place for PKs, but it shouldn't be for incidental contact or to decide a match in a shootout. Let them play the 30 minute OT, then go to sudden death.

Re: FIFA World Cup
Yup. Mbappe was a fukking stud. I am sure even Messi would agree he was the best man on the pitch. The ARG goalie was a beast as well.

Definitely some good moments in the game, but way too much flopping and pretending to be hurt after the slightest touch from opposing player.
They got the awards right. Golden Foot is for the best player in the tournament, and Messi was the first player ever to score in each level of the WC. But the best player of the finals was Mbappe, the guy carried the entire France team.
