Croz croaks at 82.
Roach is out of the gate with 18 big points.
No extra points, cause of death reported as "long illness"

Roach is better at picking dead dudes than he is at picking NFL teams.
Shut up, Randy!

RIP. "Southern Cross" should be on Tune Town Friday night.

Re: Will They Put A Southern Cross On His Grave?
Why Southern Cross? It was written by Michael Curtis, Richard Curtis & Stephen Stills.
Stephen Stills sings lead throughout, with Graham Nash joining on the second verse. Because David Crosby did not reunite with Stills and Nash until the album was well underway, his vocals are not featured on the album version, although he did appear in the video and subsequently sang the song with the group in live performances.

Yeah, but did any other CSN tunes get mentioned in a death thread title, Mr. Smartypants?

I know it's a Steven Stills song and not a David Crosby song, but is the song Manassas about Manassas, Va?Mikey wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 4:40 am Why Southern Cross? It was written by Michael Curtis, Richard Curtis & Stephen Stills.

OK have it your way. I do like the song. Maybe you should include something from The Byrds, like You Ain’t Going Nowhere (Anymore).Smackie Chan wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 6:13 amYeah, but did any other CSN tunes get mentioned in a death thread title, Mr. Smartypants?

This thread reminds me of when Annie was front row at the Neil Young concert.
She loves those white dudes from the Great White North. Crosby was a Santa Barbara kid. No bueno for Annie.
It looks like Freddie Mercury was there Front Row as well. I think I even saw a young JSC sighting there as well (2:47).

Now the leading contender for understatement of the year.Sources tell me Crosby died from COVID. He was most likely vaccinated, but may have had co-morbidities.

Re: Will They Put A Southern Cross On His Grave?
what a great stoners paradise the 70s were.
Re: Will They Put A Southern Cross On His Grave?
Yeah, his diabetes, liver failure, 8 stents, lifelong substance abuse, etc. etc. had nothing to do with it.JPGettysburg wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 6:37 pm
In the interest of historical accuracy, he had been vaxed multiple times, with every requisite booster, etc....etc....etc.....
His immune system was severely compromised.
But be sure to get another shot. Get one every 3-4 months.
If stupid was a comorbidity you would have been dead years ago.

I'm not sure how much his liver had to do with his death. He had it replaced in '94 (allegedly due to Hep C).

I’m pretty sure that most, if not all, organ transplant patients have to take immunosuppressants regularly to avoid rejection. That would definitely have an affect on their ability to fight off the China Virus.Diego in Seattle wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 8:13 pmI'm not sure how much his liver had to do with his death. Re: Will They Put A Southern Cross On His Grave?
The 70s had worse weed but better acid than today. You also had quaaludes and benzos.
Re: Will They Put A Southern Cross On His Grave?
Hard for me to see Chip doing any of that.
Re: Will They Put A Southern Cross On His Grave?
I can attest to the first part, but not the rest. Haven't tried any acud kelktrhly.Screw_Michigan wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 9:13 pm The 70s had worse weed but better acid than today. You also had quaaludes and benzos.

Boy, if that ain't the understatement of the year.He was likely vaccinated, but potentially had comorbidities, according to a new report on January 19 published by Roger Friedman's Showbiz411.
Funny how when a vaxxed person gets into the CV stats, there is always the "but he had comorbidities". When an unbeliever does, it is simply because he wasn't vaxxed.
The bottom line is that if you are 81 and about 20 years into your second liver, you prolly should just lay low, jabbed or not.
And you should do so until the damn thing burns itself out among the rest of us. We had an opportunity to burn it out in '20, but we did everything possible to slow it. instead of "let it rip" while the vulnerable hid in the basement, we "let it drip" until people got fed up with hiding and it ripped anyway, after mutating a few times of course.

All the more reason to let it rip and burn it the fukk out. Then the geriatric drug abuser rock gods can come back out to play.

Re: Will They Put A Southern Cross On His Grave?
Seeing as I did not make a new thread about it, I' pretty sure it isn't a GD violation.
