Loved 88’s pick ‘ems every week. Absolute blast. Missed maybe a couple weeks over what? 10 years? More than that?

Yep, the OU-Texas back and forth, SEC dominance (welcome to the big time UT & OU), Dins and his beloved Ducks, OSU-UM-PSU, UCLA-USC, the eternally pitiful Kal and more.

NIL and the transfer portal have turned college football upside down. Got to be a bitch for coaches to build a team and to expect improvement when you can’t count on kids staying 3-4 years.

I think there are some of us still hungry for the BTPCFB smack of old, just not sure of the headcount.

I know we lost a lot of Michigan Men during the RichRod years. They should be recruitable again now that Woodyglasses Harbaugh is at the helm, even though he’ll never win a playoff game.

OU bout to land another pair of top 11 defensive players in their recruiting class with Nwaneri and Stone... extremely happy to see OU building depth on the D-line, which coincidentally is probably our deepest.

10 wins or better this season for OU or it'll be disappointing. I know it's BV's 2nd year but with that cupcake schedule, we're favored already in every game but the RRR.

If Venables doesn’t have a good season, and Tennessee continues their resurgence under Heupel, do you OU guys think the Sooners would go after Heupel before joining the SEC in ‘24?

Many moons ago psufan referenced Cicadas to Ucla football. I doth protested but it wasn't too outlandish a comparison.

The fanbase & local media are tripping over their dicks with enthusiasm this year (once again). Seems Chip Kelly found a career extender in the Portal & NIL transfer systems since recruiting HS kids wasn't his thing. He's been bringing in a bunch of credentialed transfers and DID land the #1 HS QB out of Lansing in Dante Moore.

Lots of depth on this roster both sides of LOS and a new DC.....AND, a favorable schedule for this last season as a Pac 12 member....

So....IF NOT NOW, WHEN?!?

Big negative. I think Heupel has something going in Knoxville..and the way OU and him separated, it wasn't the best of ways. Both sides say there's no animosity, but I don't see Heupel being a HC at OU in any foreseeable future....but never say never...
