The new Audioslave

Post by The Assassin »

Im disappointed frankly. It doesnt roc like the last CD did. Its WAY more toned down. Chris Cornells mellow side has influenced the fuck outta them. Its not a bad album, just not one I'd listen to over and over again.

I bought it today...I feel the same way. Very mellow but not a CD though. Also picked up the new Weezer and Foo Fighters along with My Chemical Romance. Decent buys but none were standouts.

I like the new Audioslave. I felt that a tune like Shadow Of The Sun from the first record was the best. The new record has more songs like that than Cochise.

Could have been better, could have been worse.

seems closer to Cornell's solo album than the last Audioslave album at some points.
