A good beat down of the Brownies.

Re: NFL playoffs ...
Division winners still don't deserve to have home playoff games over teams with better records.

It doesn't matter. This is Big Boy football. You win the games that are in front of you. The final game of the year isn't a home game. It's the Fucking Super Bowl.
The Oilers won because they were the better team. Period.

But they have home field advantage so they should be fine.

Re: NFL playoffs ...
Why would that be? A team in a stronger division will probably have a tougher schedule. Winning the division has to count for something. Wild Card is just that. They got in the back door.Sudden Sam wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 12:18 amWhat does that even mean?
The team with the better record should host the game.

That NFC South is really tough. 4 of the most mediocre teams ever.
Yet, the way Philly is looking, the Bucs will probably roll them.

Re: NFL playoffs ...
The Bucs won their division. Philly didn’t. Why would you reward Philly for folding over the last couple of months? They went 1 - 5 over the last six games and their only win was against the Giants. Bucs were 4 - 2.
Re: NFL playoffs ...
Can’t remember the last time I was rooting for a KAL quarterback to win a game. Tonight I’m all in.

I’m happy for Detroit that they won, and very glad that they beat the Lambs. But they didn’t cover. What good is winning the game if you don’t cover the fucking spread!?!? They didn’t even try to score on that last “drive.” What a bunch of pussies.

Could there possibly be any more commercials for betting? Every other ad is not enough.
Re: NFL playoffs ...
Good point. I just finished watching the Netflix documentary ‘Big Vape’ about the e-cig Juul. They were taken down due to their advertising methods, so how is it the sports books and betting platforms are allowed free rein during sporting events?
How many dudes are out there skipping a child support payment so they can put another hundo on an 4 team parlay?
I’m not excusing that low life mentality but having the urge and the catalyst thrown in your face between every commercial break of a football is feeding an addiction.
Go Texans! They beat that Bownstain ass.

Wow.
The Niners destroyed the Eagles will to live on December 3rd. in Philly.
If only Philly was playing at home tonight. This would be a different game.

Re: NFL playoffs ...
Doubt it. Eagles had a garbage defense all year that only got worse as the season went on. A complete coaching implosion as well. Hard to believe they thought signing Matt Patricia would fix their defensive ills. Well the whole coaching staff will probably be looking for jobs this offseason.
Congrats to your boy Goff though. He looked very impressive on Sunday and he's been great for the Lions. Too bad we hear more about Kelly Stafford and her big mouth than we do Goff's hot girlfriend, who we don't see in a bikini anymore for some reason.

Oof. That might cost her a job. Not to worry though. With her unique "qualifications" she can easily become an airline pilot.

I'm ready for Saturday night's game. Should be raining and in the 60s. There's no way Green Bay can prepare for this kind of weather on short notice.

It's high time we end the era of airhead female sideline reporters sticking a mic in the face of a head coach on his way to the locker room. You act as though he's just going to open up his playbook for you. How many times do you need to hear, "we need to do a better job of executing" before you finally get the hint?
Show me your tits, whore.
Although he was NBA, Phil Jackson was a master at making a mockery of these cue card readers. I say ditch the practice across the board and replace that air time with more gambling ads.
Re: NFL playoffs ...
I think there are plenty of gambling ads. I’d like to see more of Travis Kelce, Andy Reid, and that guy who plays QB for the Chiefs.Scott from Anaheim wrote: ↑Fri Jan 19, 2024 2:23 am I say ditch the practice across the board and replace that air time with more gambling ads.
Re: NFL playoffs ...
Go easy on Karine Jean. She probably forgot that the Lions don’t play home football games in a Pontiac anymore.

Re: NFL playoffs ...
The Golden Gate was promised to Toronto when the Raptors clowned the Warriors, still hasn't shown up. Apparently, now it's covered in some sort of shitty netting and unusable.
What is Green Bay not going to receive this time?

Offer them an air fryer and a VCR. Tell them not to wrap food in tin foil before using the fryer, it sparks.
