FL monsoons ??

Post by Wolfman »

Rainy season has arrived in spades. I was going to the Post Office this afternoon and my car conked futon a flooded street. Memeo to self: stay home when it's flooding.

The 88's had a similar experience, Wolfman. Mrs. 88 had an appointment midday yesterday. On the way home, we came to a flooded intersection. Then lightning knocked out the power and US41/Bonita Beach was the wild west. While waiting our turn to drive through the shallowest part of the flooding, some moron in a Tesla decided he could no longer wait and turned his vehicle into an electric submarine (go silent and deep?). Car parts that had come off prior morons and other debris floated back into our German luxury sled. What a mess!

WOW 88---driving a Tesla through rain puddles doesn't seem to be a good idea.

HALL OF FAME comment. So much so I think I'll jack off to celebrate.

Bywahahaha.

I'm not surprised really, considering how fucked up the administration you voted for, turned out.

Let me just add that Prius drivers are FAR FAR worse. Those who drive the Toyota Prius are left-wing extremist crazies with bumper stickers that ADVERTISE their serious mental illness.

I am so sick and tired of JP politicizing every thread. Adds nothing to the board (in retrospect, neither do I, lol). Sooooo close to putting this jackass on ignore. Made it much more readable when I did w/MS.

I'd put beamers at #1. Then Tesla drivers.

When I see those drivers. I treat them like Chinese drivers.

Futons are like a small tsunami, they have them in Florida. Give it a week, 88 will be posting pics of his Beemer impaled on a chaise lounge.

We've got JSC getting loaded and eating uncooked meat, Wolfman joyriding in floodwaters and colliding with rec-room furniture.

You shall see thangs, wonderful to tell. You shall see a... a cow... on the roof of a cotton house, ha. And, oh, so many startlements. I cannot tell you how long this road shall be, but fear not the obstacles in your path, for fate has vouchsafed your reward.

Oh brother, I need to start using vouchsafed more often, especially if I encounter a floating chaise near my Audi.

Vouchsafed is an excellent word, though one that I don’t believe I have ever used of my own habitude.
