I imagine a handful of teams will be interested in him.
The price is right.

Re: Let Russ Cook!
Just by the numbers, Russ was fairly decent last season.
A middle-of-the-pack NFL starter.
Prior to the 2019 season, NFL.com came out with a list of its top 25 QBs of all-time.
Russell Wilson was #18.
lol

I think Sean Payton is sure Russ cannot be excellent in the offense that Sean wants to run.
And it seems as if Sean also doesn't care much for Russ as a human.
How many times have you seen a QB dressed down on the sideline by a HC in the middle of a game like Payton did to him last season?
That was a "I don't like you very much" moment.
Also, I sort of wonder what Payton thought about Jim Harbaugh entering his division.
He not only has to face Mahomes and Reid twice a year, but now he's also got Harbaugh and Herbert twice a year.

Never, my jaw hit the floor. The circus didn't leave Denver when Hackett got fired, it's a permanent exhibit. They're swallowing 87 million because Payton can't handle an inoffensive kook.Softball Bat wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 12:29 am

I rate him, get him out of that clownshow. Steelers, Redskins, Raiders, (Vikings?) when they ditch Cousins would be perfect landing spots.

If the Steelers kept their backup, they would have had Wilson, Pickett.

Justin Fields is reportedly traded to the Steelers.

Don't rate him, but a sixth round pick is the best the Bears could get for him
Steelers doing a solid bit of business.
EDIT: They got rid of Mason Rudolph aswell, gone to the Titans. Missed that one, the whole QB room is cleared out. Leave it to the Bills to sign Trubisky for fook sakes :(

*update*!
- Broncos fill Wilson's void with Zach Wilson.
- Exciting draft weekend! Buffalo Bills trade down in the first round. In desperate need of a receiver, they give their pick to Carolina who take a receiver. They then trade their new pick to arch rival Kansas City, for little to no compensation. Kansas drafts a receiver.
Rest of the weekend should be exciting.

As a Denver fan, do you want to know how I feel about the Broncos right now?Dr_Phibes wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 4:56 am *update*!

I am intimate with that feeling, but relatively speaking they've only sucked for seven or eight years. That's not doing too bad. The future does not look good, judging by current events.
