Just wondering when you were working on your PhD in “Science” did your professor explain how a single cold day in winter would disprove the whole “global warming” hoax?

Smart folks know what I was saying, That's why you and your ignorant liberal beta male companions couldn't understand.
By the time the election rolls around, we will be in a recession.
Unemployment is already ticking up, and inflation and energy costs are still sky high.
You probably don't know that as you probably always use Uber Eats.

I know what the Fed does. But you, as is your wont, have completely avoided the main point of my response. Does it have to be either inflation or recession? It seems to me, but apparently requiring more critical thought than you are capable of, that their main task is to navigate a course somewhere between. So I would ask you again, how has our economy managed to exist so successfully through the years if we are, by your assumption, constantly in the middle of one disaster or another? And, if it’s inevitable, why would you prefer one party over the other on economic policy?HighPlainsGrifter wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 1:59 pmIf you want to disagree, take it up with the Federal Reserve. After a modest bounce-back Tuesday of roughly 300 on the DOW, the US markets look temporarily stabilized . . . While the Bank of Japan suffered a major anxiety attack, declaring it would turn-around the very modest 25 basis point interest rate lift that crashed their markets for three days by 20 percent — and also stated they would no longer even try to raise interest rates again. That means the yen gonna crash — big inflation for Japanese people — so sayonara purchasing power. Bigger picture suggests that a gigantic armature of derivative bets rests on the yen carry trade. The whole thing is a setup for an even worse bout of global financial instability. And just remember: the American on-the-ground economy is sinking rapidly. That’s real business and real paychecks and real trouble.

CHINA DOOM
No pics of Planet X... yet
VideosDandong, China, has been devastated by severe flooding, which has caused extensive damage. Social media shows several images and videos showing the city’s streets transformed into raging rivers, buildings submerged, and no sign of residents.
The unprecedented Biblical flooding is attributed to record-breaking rainfall, exacerbated by climate change. The scale of the disaster has prompted fears that other regions, including the United States, could be next. Meteorologists and climate scientists are warning that the same extreme weather patterns responsible for the Dandong disaster are forming across the globe. However, they need to talk about journalist Shepard Ambellas and his work, which documents how a massive celestial perturber, possibly 300 times the size of Jupiter, is likely responsible for the devastation. Ambellas claims that the Planet X Nemesis System is approaching perihelion with Earth and that we are likely seeing the onset of the 7-year tribulation discussed in the Bible.

Sure, in the past the FED preserved a balance between economic growth and inflation. That was their job, and they did it. Right now the FED will struggle to strike that balance. The amount of currency that's been pumped into this economy is unheard of and it will have consequences. The fact you think everything is fine and will continue to be fine is proof that consequences are pending. Even with spending outpacing income by $2T a year the economy is only growing at 2.5%. Raise taxes so we aren't financing the government with debt and the economy slows. Don't stop the flow of printed money and inflation grows. Cut the flow of new money and leave spending static and the economy slows. Reduce inflation by raising interest rates and the economy slows. Do we slow to a recession? Eventually, yes. Inevitably because...consequences. And you'll blame Donald Trump because the people whom program your thinking will tell you it's Trump's fault.
