Actually, that is the easiest question. If you don't have the right to defend yourself, you have no rights at all. There is no more fundamental natural right than self-defense.
I do not believe the Framers envisioned the Second Amendment as protecting the right of the People to attach high capacity magazines to semi-automatic weapons (neither of which existed at the time).
What the fuck are you babbling about? They clearly envisioned and provided for privately owned warships. They wouldn't bat an eye at any commonly used small arm.
