Kamala Harris Interview on Fox News
I thought Brett Bair did a good job asking Kamala hard questions.
Kamala did a good job deflecting the questions and regurgitating well-rehearsed talking points.
Looked a lot like most of the political threads around here.
This does not move the needle. Doesn't even jiggle it.

Considering that you are able to overlook the multitude of trump's crimes and flaws, it is no surprise that an interview of the future President doesn't change your opinion.

Didn't watch it. Did she say she had a concept of a plan?

Re: Kamala Harris Interview on Fox News
Baier challenged her on multiple occasions to defend the current administrations record, or her specific actions, and her default response was, "Yeah, but Donald Trump..."
I can't imagine any FAUX NEWS viewing moderate is moved to get out and vote for Scamala based on what they saw in this interview.

Baier needs to STFU. He would ask her questions & then continually interrupt her while she was trying to give an answer.

I don't like when interviewers do that, and I didn't like it in this case, either.Diego in Seattle wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2024 11:24 amBaier needs to STFU. He would ask her questions & then continually interrupt her while she was trying to give an answer.
At the very start of the interview, Baier asked her a specific question -- "Give me the number..."
Instead of answering him with a specific number, she started going into what Baier knew was going to be a 4 minute filibuster, so he interrupted her.
She was going to burn time and not address the question.
He interrupted her this way multiple times, trying to force her not to burn the clock with yammering that isn't addressing the question.
It isn't pleasant to watch, and I would prefer it if an interviewer didn't operate that way, but I do understand why it went down that way.

I’ve seen it. He HAD to try to stop her bullshit. She won’t answer anything.Diego in Seattle wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2024 11:24 am Baier needs to STFU. He would ask her questions & then continually interrupt her while she was trying to give an answer.
She NEVER answered a question. She has her programmed key words that she continually spews. She’s beyond pitiful.
“Donald Trump…Donald Trump”. If Dems watched that and still vote for her, they deserve what they’ll get.

Re: Kamala Harris Interview on Fox News
I didn't see it, but according to Pete Wehner, a former speechwriter for Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush, she dominated Baier in the interview.

If deflecting every question by trashing her opponent is ‘dominating’, yes, she did
If anyone wanted to hear her actually answer a question, she failed miserably.
Put it this way: if her intent was to sway some undecided voters, she’s finished.

No one in this country deserves what she will cause.
Somewhere (in here?) I read that Vegas has Trump winning. I don’t care who moves into the WH, as long as it isn’t Harris.

Well, looks like Baier himself admits that she got over.
But I guess that is fiction as well, right?

If "dominated" means reciting non-responsive talking points rather than answering his questions, she definitely did. See for yourself (in other words, spend the 12 minutes it takes to be educated yourself on the subject before you post a take about it):

Here is the interview, and while I have not finished it yet, so far it seems that she did a great job.

She hammered the propaganda arm of the cult.
That was embarrassing. He looked like a gimp. She emasculated him like she did to the convicted felon during the debate.
It's telling that all the Republicans are backing Harris.

When a former president can only get 10% of his cabinet members to endorse their former boss but you're all gung ho for him...you might be in a cult.

Baier did NOT admit that she got over.
As you will see in the link below, if you choose to watch it, post-interview, Baier was very measured and diplomatic in his assessment of the encounter.
He said the Harris campaign may have been happy with a "viral moment" in the interview (although I watched the interview and have no idea what moment the Harris campaign would jizz over), but that some of her answers were... interesting (that means dumb).
He also said that she went back to "Yeah, but Dona;d Trump" at least 15 times.

Post-interview, Baier did not want to trash her or praise her.
He thanked her for giving the interview.
She is a joke.

Huh?
They were pretty clear to me.
What are the convicted felon's policies?
Re: Kamala Harris Interview on Fox News
You must not have watched the whole thing, Sam.
As she said, her campaign website describes her policies and issues.
You may not like them. But you cannot truthfully say that they do not exist.

Re: Kamala Harris Interview on Fox News
88, if that was a witness in a courtroom, yes the judge would have told her to provide a direct answer to the question, and then explain her reasoning.
But that wasn't cross examination in a courtroom. It was a political interview.
And considering that, she did great. Further, she was better on point to the questions posed than I've ever seen trump perform.
Clearly, overall, the interview was a positive for her, she "won" the interview if you want to think of it in those terms.
I have no problem admitting that trump won the debate with Biden a few months ago, because he did. Why is it difficult to recognize her good effort here?

I’d love for there to be a better candidate than Trump. All we have to go by is the job he did in office previously. Even with all the embarrassing moments and awkward appearances, he did a damn good job.
Harris is incapable of spelling out her policies.
All she did was denigrate her opponent. She acted like Trump.

If someone watched that interview and came away saying Scamala "won the day," one of the following applies to that person.Roux wrote:Clearly, overall, the interview was a positive for her, she "won" the interview if you want to think of it in those terms.
a) They are deluded.
b) They have an agenda.
c) They have the mind of a 3rd grade girl.

She was late for the interview, and her staff was waving Baier to end the exchange early when they realized she had fucked the interview up beyond repair.
I honestly think her campaign is trying to sabotage her.
She's toast. No way she goes on Rogan now. She could barely get through a 25 min shitshow. Rogan's interviews last at least 2 hours.

Why should he? He is winning and no one watches her show anyway. Beyond that, she is a well-documented conspiracy theory lunatic. But if he did go on her show, I'd watch. I think she would get destroyed (and then you would come in here and say that someone who claims to have actually watched it said she crushed him). Maddow has more documented lies on video than even Diego could imagine against Drumpf. Russian collusion much?

It's going to be comedy gold around here.
