Its nice to see you here too.

Are you really that confident in ND's chances of winning? Vegas sees ND losing by 9.5 last I saw.

I won't predict the outcome. But I do predict that ND will have some trouble with OSU's speed. It should be a brawl.

No, I'm not. If ND weren't so banged up, I'd like their chances much better. But their offensive line is bring held together by some old gum and paper clips and the defense is depleted. They're a year or two ahead of schedule, so this feels like playing with house money. I'm not as concerned with OSU's speed as much as I am with their lines. Those were the strengths of ND's team and they are a shell of what they were.

But Freeman is awesome. There hasn't been someone who got ND like this since Holtz. Looking forward Momday.

Congrats to Killian and all you Buckeye mofos.

Although I did not enjoy Bama’s erratic play this year, it’s been relaxing to watch everyone else go at it without me having a dog in the fight. Probably extended my life a couple years! I console myself by watching NFL games populated by Bama players…the most in the league and the most on playoff team rosters.

Looking forward to a great title game.

tOSU still playing without two of their best linemen, Simmons has been out since the first Oregon game and McLaughlin out since before the Indiana game. Arguably what led to the mess versus scUM. Ever since the playoff started, Day and Chip Kelly and Frye have put together a patchwork o-line that has worked well. I expect a tough and hard hitting game versus ND.

What L45B said. If the Ohio State secondary tackles well, I think ND will have a difficult time scoring a lot of points. And if the ND secondary does not play well, ND will have a difficult time stopping Ohio State from scoring a lot of points. But my instincts tell me that this will be a bare knuckle brawl, probably determined by turnovers and special teams play.

I hear some ND fans comparing their ‘24 squad to the ‘02 tOSU 14-0 natty team that upset the Canes, and that this year’s tOSU might more resemble that ‘02 Miami team as far as talent and firepower.

That’s high praise (re: the ‘02 Buckeyes comparison) and surely Freeman brings that Tresselball energy of ball control offense, stout defense and lockdown special teams.

I am hopeful that tOSU will not come into this game cocky (like those Miami teams of the past), especially given that Texas forced them to win a game without Jeremiah Smith highlight reels.

I’m with 88, I expect a slugfest. I think tOSU will be able to break a big play or two. The game will really come down to defense and tOSU avoiding any special teams meltdowns.

If Notre Dame’s running back strips the ball back from Caleb Downs after a Buckeye interception in the third quarter, I will be gravely concerned.

Aside from that, rack northern football. Too bad they can’t play this one at Soldier Field or Lambeau 8)

Congrats Buckeye Nation.
Even though ND got beat as a fan I'm pretty happy with where this program is. The culture is off the charts. Players love Freeman and the staff. Different than when BK was there. They enjoy playing with and for each other. It wasn't that way with BK. I think the only thing they're missing is a QB that can really throw downfield and WR's that can stretch things vertically. I think the future is bright for the Irish.
